Now I can see why they drafted him. He's not Saquon, not the speed or power but he seems to have the vision and the feet & balance.
With just one year's experience at running back, I'm impressed.

Or vision. Home run only for Barkley.
Saquon is hard to bring down. (He did a 585 pound squat in 2023, off-season). If that's not power, I don't know what is.

I don’t care if he can lift a building. He plays soft.
Here is the RAS compare
Also I found this article that did analysis of RBs from last year:

Is "soft", then yes, Saquon is guilty as charged, he'll never try to run over tacklers, he will juke and jump cut and spin like runners 30-40 pounds lighter than him (but if you tackle him you're gonna feel it, big-time).
Tracy is Saquon-like because he reads and quickly reacts to holes and secondary tacklers. Guess I'm a bit surprised how good he is. Good job, Giants.
I remember when Bradshaw first came to the Giants, he was like that, then he evolved. He could still cut but he became a very angry between-the-tackle force.

Especially on 3rd and short.

time I've ever heard anyone associate Barkley with the word "power."

Especially the vision. Boy, his field vision is really poor.
