4. We were one of the worst teams because of 1-3, and would be picking high if only we hadn't traded our draft pick.
Now it might be OK in the long run if Maye turned out to be great, but this board would be apoplectic if New England had our high draft pick next year and picked up the latest "Franchise QB" in waiting.

2. The tandem contends for a division title.
With #1, the direction is obvious.
Under #2 Joe may decide to use first day picks to improve the rest of the team (and possibly get a QB with potential to develop as #3 and eventual contender at the position).
If you truly suck, you have your pick of QBs to draft. It's the teams who win enough games to remain outside of the top 5 but don't have a long term answer who find themselves in the toughest spot.

The 2024 New York Giants are the textbook definition of QB Hell.

That was definitely AI. Morgan Freeman would have pronounced "Derangement" properly and not used hard "G".
