Bucks played 7, Gallinari got 4 minutes.

Cavs basically play 7 with Merril as their 8th guy for 5 minutes

Pacers play 8

Heat played 8

Magic played 10

A lot of this is way off. Hauser played 22 minutes a game this season for Boston, averaging six three point attempts per game. He played quite a bit more than 5-10 during the Heat series, and not because they were blowouts.

Cavs have seven guys averaging at least 20 minute a game vs Magic, then Niang the 8th guy averaging 15 minutes a game, then Morris the ninth guy at 8 minutes, before getting to Merrill at 7 minutes per.

I know you know stats so the slant is a bit tedious.

We are tlaking playoffs not regular season..

Hauser is playing 15 MPG and every single game had a point differential of 10+, so yes every game was a blowout..

With the cavs you are right i forgot about Niang

So far, this post season the Knicks are the only team to use a 7 man rotation in any game and they are the only team with 3 players averaging over 40 minutes per game. Yes, blowouts do skew that a bit, however.

You will see teams trim their rotation more as they go..

no,i say 8 is, and every superstar plays at minimum 40 minutes..

I hate to break it you guys but the Knicks are conditioned for this. We kill Thibs all season for playing guys too much but this series should have showed you why he does it. Regardless of minutes the Knicks were the fresher team in almost every single game of this series in the 4th quarter. I wonder why…

Maybe it goes differently if Thibs don’t play his best the minutes he did. The guys that play the most are young and in tremendous shape, they’ll be fine and actually seem to thrive on it. I can’t help but wonder if it doesn’t demoralize their opponents a little late in games when it’s obvious the guy across from them is still going all out when they are breathing heavy?

Thibs knows his players and what they can handle better than anybody. He’s a good coach they all seem to love playing for.

Id rather trade Randle than Deuce and i know it sounds like a major knock on Randle but its more about fit after you get Bridges

I think they could get away with not including Deuce. They’re going to select two rookies in the first round this year, I’d expect one or both of them would be in the deal, and then probably 3 firsts with Bogie’s salary.

I doubt Randle is in a deal for Bridges. You’re basically all in after a Bridges trade, and don’t have a true second option to take the load off of Brunson. I don’t know that Bridges is that guy consistently enough so ideally you’re bringing him in as the third guy alongside Jalen and Randle.

Luka, Ant, OKC kids and of course Jokic moving on - Lebron, AD, KD, Booker, Steph, Kawhi, Harden, PG all out. And Wemby will start to climb the ladder soon too.

Allen literally couldn't show up the last half of the series. Garland made a couple plays late but was a no show for 3 and a half quarters. Mobley actually was a defensive force on the series but Orlando was a nice front line matchup for him. If I were Mitchell I'd run away. He's not winning anything there.

But i think the biggest thing is the Pacer slove to get out in transition, they love to release and get out..If they do that they are going to get absolutely destroyed on the glass and thats not the way to beat the Knicks...
