He should be #2….I don’t think Gray is any better. Although, I will hold back my final analysis until I see Dante Miller. He is a total unknown to me but I droll over the things I’ve read about him.
I figure that's how the Giants will use him, with Singletary getting the majority of carries. I'm intrigued by Miller, but I keep getting Da'Rell Scott flashbacks, which might be unfair. We'll see.
Of BBI putting on their GM hats last season when watching the Eric Gray highlight vid? But then because he only got a few carries in preseason he was already a bust.

People are way too impatient. He hardly got a look last year but think it’s mostly due to the fact he struggled in pass pro and they had Barkley out there for 70% of snaps.
I think Gray is going to have a sizable role this year. People are down on him because he was asked to do something he was not good at (return punts) and struggled.
can run block well enough to provide us with a real run game this year. Runyan is not necessarily a good run blocker, from all accounts. Hopefully he’s good enough to at least create a gap.
he's going to be a fumble waiting to happen.
Defenders are drilled on how to dislodge balls and I don't think that will be something that gets cleaned up easily.
I remember Tiki and high and tight, but that took an entire camp and discipline. Don't think it will get cracked down on till he coughs it up a few times. Hope I'm wrong.

Obviously he doesn't have the volume of a prime back but just for the sake of discussion he has 1 college fumble.
But I'm seeing Antonio Gibson in the running style (not to mention the converted receiver aspect to their histories). He runs upright. He may prove to be successful with it (Eric Dickerson comes to mind), but it's not ideal and leaves his body exposed (and the ball, too).
factor into his upside? When it comes to RBs is attrition more attributed to usage and number of hits taken, or is it simply father time? He obviously doesn't have much wear at the RB position so hopeful that is what is more important.
I noticed that too, but I'm sure that will be a coaching point.

Had the exact same thought!
I was saying this yesterday. Giants new RB coach should be perfect for him, worked with Kamara his entire career.

How did you draw this conclusion?

I’d like to see him get 5-6 touches a game. Get him out in space and see what he can do.
