NFT: Anyone take the MetLife Stadium tour?

CozySunday : 5/8/2024 11:07 am
Was considering taking my three boys on one of the Saturday stadium tours. Has anyone done this before? Reviews?
“That stadium sucks, don’t waste your time”

what a historic site to visit. Between all the championships that were won on that field, you're in for a treat. What a treat for you and your family.

Make sure to stop at a Perkins diner afterwards.

on two separate business/conference trips to Dallas, part of the event has been a stadium tour of AT&T. Had to grit my teeth the whole time, but let me tell you that place is damn impressive. Even got to tour the Cheerleaders' locker room. Can't imagine there's much to write home about with a MetLife tour. See the Snoopy trophy, maybe?
I know metlife has more championships than that toilet in Dallas

I ran the 5k last year, which included hanging out on the field and checking out their locker room.

If they do it again this year I plan to bring my son.

Some folks aren't interested in this stuff, others are. I enjoyed it.

Wife took me

when it first opened. Its nice but not most of it was of stuff us average fans wont get a taste of. they showed of all the clubs and only showed the door of the locker room as you couldn't go in. Let us on the field but only on the sideline.

There was a little more accesses then you can get gameday but nothing you cant live without.

Took my family to the fan fest they had a few years back where you could go on the field and they played Little Giants on the video boards. That was much more of a treat.

And screw Perkins, Tick tock diner all the way.
At the end of the tour

Do you get a medium Pepsi?
I've had the opportunity to explore all over that stadium

over the past year or so, and while the outside arena may not be as fancy as many wish for, it's really cool to be able to see it all up close. Changes the experience of watching a game, or even a concert there, in person or even on TV. The REALLY cool parts are if the tour takes you into some of the "high rollers" areas ... the places where folks have have the big bucks eat and hang out. That's when you get a complete different impression of MetLife.
The tour of Jerrah's House is worth it

Ran the whole field, stood on the star, was in the cheerleaders locker room, sat on every bench of course, amazing stadium

ago. It was fun and interesting. At the time I went, the stadium had a natural grass field that was laid for an upcoming soccer game. Absolutely gorgeous to look at and walk on. Our tour guide was the star of the show. He had been with the Giants Stadium crew since the early 80's. Also knew Well Mara pretty well. Man, he had some stories to tell that we're funny and poignant. You also get to see things that are normally off limits like the luxury boxes, press boxes and inner workings of the stadium. All in all, not a bad way to spend a couple of hours.
I did last season

Agree with cozysunday. Did the tour post Covid spent some time in the trophy room. Being in a small group in that room was awesome as explained a lot of stuff. The guide we had was awesome as well especially the stories.

If the kids are under 13 or have not been to games they might get bored
