I'd love to see him make it on the Giants, and who knows if he'll be a DT or FB, if he becomes a FB he could haunt some of the teams in the NFCE (kind of like a player like Boston Scott was against the Giants for several seasons).
I like his hunger to play.
A lightinng quick 3 tech to put next to Dex on pass rush downs.
Payne coming in for a visit fits this bill, as does our UDFA Rogers.
They likely recognize that all attention is going to go to Dex, Burns and KT. Just add someone else in that can beat a single block and get to the QB fast.
RE: Mendenhall was 6’1”, 255 … and Burt was 6’1, 260 …
It’s not the size of the man in the fight … it’s speed, quickness, intelligence and determination … let’s see what he can bring
That was at a time when offensive linemen were much lighter...
Quote:
According to Elias Sports Bureau research, the average weight of starting offensive linemen was 254.3 pounds in 1970. It jumped to 276.9 by 1990, but the largest increase in poundage would come in the following 10 years. A decade later, the average O-line starter checked in at 309.4 pounds.

#NYGiants add rookie DT "Baby Bison" Chatman to the roster....6-0 and 278, quick and as strong as an ox....also played some snaps as a fullback at SMU.
Maybe he could be our Nikita Whitlock
I didn’t see the spin move in the highlights so he still has some work to do to get to Nikita-level :-)
The 280 is not stretched out over a 6'2-3" frame. On the one hand, I would think this may help him re: leverage. The arm length may be an issue but on the interior with a quick getoff he cold negate that.
He could also play special teams and if he can play FB too. He has a legitimate shot. At a minimum, I think he can make the practice squad.
Autry played both 3 and 5 techniques in Bowen's D the last few years and excelled. Also was an UDFA way back in 2014. Autry is taller at 6'4.5'' but was a similar weight coming in at just 273lbs. His arms are even shorter than Chatman's. He did better in the agility drills but much worse in the bench and slightly worse in the 40. The jumps were similar.
(Probably Chatman is camp fodder), but no denying Donald succeeded at 6'1", 284.
Hate to be redundant, but look at that Ravens' triple-team clip again - #64 Center Tyler Linderbaum, 6'2" 304; #76 Left Guard, #76 Andrew Vorhees, 6'6" 310, and (number obscured) I believe it's Left tackle Ronnie Stanley 6'6" 315; all against one man.

Ovie Oghoufo is about the same size as Lawrence Taylor.

Seem like he would worth a 7th Rd pick
He's small.
And not just undrafted, but not signed by anyone as an UDFA.
Off the chart small. You can count on one and how many DTs have played the game at 5'11/sub-280
Offensive tackles tend to be tall. Blocking a fast moving short powerful DE would seem difficult.

And the motor is good...
When the Rams played the lions in post season, they had THREE 300+ linemen blocking Donald, on many plays.
To stop him ...

I swear BBI is bipolar. A guy is either camp fodder or an obvious Hall of Famer.

So am I. Well, maybe a few pounds lighter now.
