They’re not shutting down. They’re closing 48 locations. That still leaves close 600 locations in operation.

I've picked up their cheddar biscuit mix from the grocery to a couple times and it takes me back.

all you can peel shrimp. That's really the limiting factor. Can't remember the last time I went to one, so nbd for me. Wages at all these low end food places are suffocating. I won't go to fast food chains anymore, the prices have gotten stupid

Lol... I only remember that I had the mahi mahi. And I think it was also my introduction to the concept of an appetizer/multi course meal.

It's a whole lot less expensive and more enjoyable for me to buy live lobsters in the supermarket and make them at home.

All you need is a large pot of salted boiling water and some melted butter. Naturally, I have the lobster bibs (which are really fun to wear).

Sizzler pioneered the all you can eat salad bar. They owned it like none other lol

Private Equity - great for the rich, HORRIBLE for just about everything else in the world.

Worked at Red Lobster and she’d always bring back like 20 cheddar biscuits. There was nothing like crushing those things at 4am after a night out.

a long time ago. They went downhill and I really can't remember the last time I've been to one even though our town has one about 3 miles from our home.

with their all you can eat crab legs. after an hour they started to bring them one at a time and he kept powering through.

My wife and I went to one on a lark for lunch last month because it has been about 15 years and I'm not a food snob but holy shit it was terrible and we were surrounded by people who were enjoying the hell out of themselves so bless their hearts.

the best of the chain restaurants, i'd put it above cheesecake fatory and outback. even high end restaurants can struggle with consistent freshness and preparation of seafood and they do a really good job of it.

thing this didn't come out a week earlier or most of BBI's Mother Day plans would have been ruined.

Anyway, there was this heckler who would often chirp him around the course- word around the Tour was that Shooter McGavin was paying off the heckler.
One day, I did see the heckler asking Shooter if he wanted to grab a bite at Red Lobster.
Anyway, I've never eaten there because I have a sophisticated pallet - unlike the low life hecklers in this world.
But that was a long time ago, despite the Waterbury Open feeling like just yesterday.
