OG is out again going to need big games from Divo and McBride if this team has any chance of recovering. Hopefully the MSG crowd is a factor. Let’s get this pivotal game!
And I think it’s cool that you have guys who were traded for one another (e.g. Starks/Spree; Carmelo/Chandler) hanging out and laughing it up. Now we just need Keith Van Horn to come to a game and hang with Tim Thomas!

Also, they need to bring Oakley back
How many teams in the NBA get that? I mean why wouldnt you want to play here, look at the support, even guys who didnt win shit and keft on bad terms are coming back..
Look at fricken Marbury man

Ewing is 100x the Knick Oakley was. He made his bed now he can stay
If it's so obvious that the Knicks should move on from him because he can't stay healthy, why is anyone else going to take him?
I'd bet he's back.
They are 2 years at a reasonable salary. Mitch was expected to be out for the year but came back at less than 100%. Philly did a lot of cheap shots to his knees otherwise he may still be playing.
Don’t forget, especially with the praise iHart is getting for tonight’s game, Mitch is our best offensive rebounder. If we run it back next year with this same team then iHart’s minutes will protect Mitch just as JR’s can protect OG.
This is how the game is played I guess - take some shots at the Knicks, go on a Knicks podcast, both sides pick up a few followers along the way, everybody's happy.
Notice how the Knicks walked off the court tonight
Why are we so quick to get rid of Mitch and sign IHart? Did we forget how Embiid was bitching out IHart? Did we forget that IHart was doing shit this whole series until last night? This isn't a shit on IHart post. What I am saying is that the combination of both IHart and Mitch is a perfect combo at C. Neither one is perfect. They both have their flaws but their flaws and strengths complement each other. Let's not forget how crucial it was to have Mitch back against Philly. We probably don't win that series without Mitch. I get the injuries. It's annoying. However, a lot of big men are like that. The point of this post is just to show how important each player is to the success of this team. IHart should have been playing this way all series. We all said this series benefits him more than Mitch because the style of play. I'm glad he finally showed up in such a pivotal game.

Was about to post something similar. What’s the reason to run Mitch out of town? The guy was a beast, playing on one leg, against Embiid in round 1. He’s arguably the best offensive rebounder in the league (although looks like he’s rubbed off on ihart), an excellent defender, and has a dirt cheap contract.
Robinson signed a descending contract, he’s due to make 14 and 13 mil the next two years. Who are you finding that does what Mitch does for that cost? Even if he only plays 25 minutes per game next year, or misses 20 games, having the ability to deploy Mitch or Hartenstein depending on the matchup is worth the cost.
its more about fit with starters and also cap gymnastics, i dont think you want 30 to 35 million tied up to the center position unless you got a big time player there..
OG is going to get around 35 million a year..
Brunson is going to sign an extension either this year or next and he is going to be over 40.
Whether you keep Randle or trade for a guy that 2nd guy is going to be over 40..
You got Hart at 18 next year and Divencenzo at 11, with deuce at 4..
If you dont make a trade Bojan is at 22..
It adds up and you want to remain flexible because that 2nd apron is coming and you want to be set with a championship contender before you go over it

Exactly.
Do we have enough cap space to resign both OG and IHart
The Knicks are an over the cap team. They will be able to sign OG with Bird rights and Hartenstein with early bird rights. Issue with Hartenstein is they can only offer him 16-17 million, as much as they want to keep him the reality is someone else might offer him more than the Knicks are able to.
RE: Do we have enough cap space to resign both OG and IHart
the game is 8:30 though its realllllly hard to root for the Celtics. I got a real dilemma tonight I guess huh? haha
My daughter is in 1st grade and playing softball and I'm loving her games. I will be there no matter what so it's either miss the 1st half of the Knicks, or enjoy both games in the entirety. But let's be honest, C's are in all likelihood closing out tonight.
RE: Picking up my daughter from college Friday in MD I realllllly hope
Pacers played that game like they were up 3-1, not tied 2-2, they came in and went up 7 and it looked like they though oh they are done., they got nothing left..
Imagine being down 20 and to start the 4th keeping Brunson on the bench rsther than keeping him on the court and seeing if they vould cut into the lead?
One big moment in this game Knicks down 7 to start and they looked a little tentative and Hart hit a 3 to cut it to 4 and the energy picked uo immediately..
Knicks started doing the guard-guard pick and pop like they did against Cleveland, Pacers are put into a spot with Deuce starting of if they double Deuce is the first pass and can knock down the 3 or drive and swing or do they switch and leave Haliburton to get cooked?
Defensively the Knicks switched everything, they are not scared of the bigs of Indiana posting up because its simply not their game, they want to move the ball and spread you out and being smaller they sinply just switched..
Carslisle made a comment of well the Pacers havnt been in this position before, series tied 2-2 and thats how they played how they going to react in a must win game?
Yes. Mitch might need to go though.
I think so? Especially if we move on from Robinson, which we should

Yes they can . The question is how high they will go on Hartenstein and do they try and move Mitch.
Obi was like minus infinity too.
Carlisle crying in the postgame. Very unlikable dude.

They have to move on from Mitch. He’s proven he can’t stay healthy.
Also, they need to bring Oakley back
I'd bet he's back.
+1, bc this team never quits - but I never imagined a 30pt blowout
Also, they need to bring Oakley back

The Knicks are limited to giving Hartenstein 175% of his current salary. If somebody else wants him bad enough they won’t be able to keep him.

They got a 7 point lead and thought ok, Knicks are dead
1 team means businness and knows what it takes to win, the other thinks their big ahit and is just going to continue to talk
Alec Burks pulled another Fournier.
Hartenstein finally grabbed some damn rebounds.
Precious played very well in the second quarter.
I bring these guys up because they will have to play well in Indiana to close the series out. It can’t just be Brunson cooking for 45 minutes.
I'd bet CP is ready for that one, lol.

Better than 9.

I guess to each their own. I'll take 9 over 6 any day.

That's correct

They can make it work and still be under the apron, i think you will see some maneuvering

Whether you root or not, Celtics are endjng it tonight, most likely no Mitchell and Allen, Celtics at home they are going to want to end it tonight

Yeah I agree. 90+% we are playing 8:30 Friday. Damn Bicketstaff must be running those guys into the ground with all the minutes :-)
