I was just listening to Ballad of John and Yoko way too loud....
getting high by the fire..day off.
It occurred to me that was just John and Paul that recorded this song.
I have a certain affection for this number as it is the first song I learned on guitar as a kid.
Good song. . I think Paul played drums and more.
I never cared for it much, too typical of the "John only writes self-indulgent songs about himself and Yoko" era just before the break up.
