Many of the TNF games when they started were division games to keep the travel proximity close on a short week. Dallas isn't exactly a short hop to Newark, but the Packers have played out in SEA and SF on TNF, so it's happens.

Well, they also played in London two years ago, and here they go back over to play in Germany.
isn’t dumb. They may be greedy, but they know in post pandemic world and in Fall, they have an eager captive audience on Thursday nights (given many take off Friday or work from home), and are trying to juice better games for that window and to keep Amazon happy too.
