Maybe the Giants didn't want the exposure and this was the compromise.

See, I wasn't the only one wondering where the content was.
All the haters here who have sworn off any association for the team with Hard Knocks, Offseason, Training Camp, whatever....if we were to take names, we would safely assume that once this thing starts and the commentary starts, we will see none of your names in there commenting any any aspect of the show....right? Since you have sworn if off an all...
Im willing to bet at least 1 or 2 of the haters will have PLENTY to say once this thing gets going!:)
- The Wink debacle + hiring his replacement
- Saquon leaving for Philly
- the Burns trade
- FA signings (particularly Lock)
- the Waller situation
- the draft process, from the trade up attempts to landing on a top 3 talent in Nabers

If anything is shown related to attempts to trade up for Maye. That would put DJ in a humiliating situation and force him to respond to endless questions about it ("Daniel, how did you feel when you saw how badly Joe wanted to trade up to draft your replacement?")

It's the off season. Not training camp. The giants haven't even begun to implement new schemes. Some people are really dense or just lack simple reading comprehension.
I love the inside stuff and getting to see the personal interactions. I know they know the cameras are running so the interactions aren't 100% genuine, but it still is nice to see the human side of all of this. The NHL network had this for the Devils training camp about 5 years ago and it was a fun watch. I'm in and out on the training camp Hard Knocks. usually watch 2 or 3 epis a year but thats because I don't have a genuine interest for the teams involved in it. This I will watch every episode.

Are all of these teams officially bottom tier because of those appearances? What a bunch of drama queens.
It's not like the Giants are a finely tuned machine anyway; I don't think clips of DeVito and his mom pouring Rao's all over some chicken cutlets is going to take the offense down from 19 PPG to 18.5 PPG.
One thing that I never did like about this show in general was them showing players being cut. That's a tough moment in someone's life and no one signed up for being fired on TV. I always thought that was in bad taste.

Was No Medals For Trying a silly, sensationalized, wanna-be soap opera? No.
"Sanitized" would be a better description of Hard Knocks than "sensationalized." When Antonio Brown was melting down at Raiders camp, the only mention he got in Hard Knocks was shots of him working out in a pool.
Hard Knocks will focus on safe, prearranged storylines that usually have zero connection with how good or bad the team actually is. As it always has. Best digested as light fluff with some fun moments.

comments here, but this is something we should all be excited about. Fans have questioned the decisions and processes for years, here's your look into them.
would be interesting to me if they show any of the thought process behind disqualifying them at #6. Because if any of them become top 10-15 starters, it is going to be revisited A LOT.
