Being a 3rd generation fan starting with my grandfather dating back to the 30’s. My father born in ‘49 telling me stories of the Giants greats of the late 50’s and 60’s…then watching the Giants with him my entire life until his passing in 2010 (3/4 superbowls) I wish both were here to see these. Respect and honor to all of the old time Giants fans and players. We all bitch and moan about this organization because we want them to win…..but for me the Giants are forever intertwined into my family legacy. I’m of a dying breed…. Orignal New England NY Giants fans. New England used to have a huge Giants following….its slowly dwindled due to the Patriots success and Giants futility but the old timers still stand proud!! I’m 48 but my legacy is that of an old timer!

Not sure if they got rid of those or the legacy, but it would have to be one of those two.

My guess is color rush since it is 5 years old. The legacy is only 2 years old, and FWIW they still have not lost wearing those (3-0-1)

I did notice in a few press releases early on this off-season they featured the “Giants” letter helmet on the regular blue shell, which they used to wear with the color rush before the helmet rule change. Would be weird to do that with a helmet they no longer use…

Wondering if there is more news coming about uniforms? I hope so as I’d hate to see the color rush out of rotation…

Blue unis, sure. White with Blue, sure. Even the red alternate unis aren't so bad. But this....looks like some CFL also ran uni. No sir, not my taste.

If I'm betting, they'll wear them for the home games against Washington and Indy.

I think they'll go back to the 80s/90s unis eventually. This latest uni is another money grab by the good folks from Giantsland.
