I wish they didn't just replace the all white throwbacks though.
The NFL has some pretty stupid rules with the uniforms. Remember back when they only allowed 1 helmet per team because of the concussion issues? Yet college teams like Oregon could have 10 different helmets?
Teams should have at least 5 different uniforms as long as they don't look just like the opponent.
Eric, I happen to agree with you, the history aspect of this makes these cool for a year.
The reactions though, show you what NYG is up against this year. If you think people are mad at uniforms, wait until what happens if this team is 2-6 in October.

The red pattern on the blue is based on the extra layer of leather that stood out from the background leather. That's why Michigan has that same look, based on their old helmet.
Although I would have tweaked the pants to make them a bit more modern. I get what they were trying to do though. I just hate that the white color rush could be the lost for this.
Whether fans like the throwback uniforms or want to literally throw them back, it's all a matter of personal taste.

Imagine setting up a Twitter account and on your profile you write "#1 Daniel Jones hater"? That's the mindset we're dealing with here.

Liking or not liking the uniforms doesn't mean you don't respect the Giants or their history, or that you're a good or bad fan. And suggesting that one person's twitter profile represents "the mindset" of people who don't like the unis is just silly.

The purpose of a throwback uniform is not to make it look more modern. That defeats the intended purpose.
Not to miller a thread, but yes, putting something like that in your Twitter profile makes you a bad fan. It also makes you a bad human being. (Or at least, someone with a broken moral compass).
