"Phase Three" of offseason program starts Monday and runs for four weeks.
Teams may conduct a total of 10 days of organized team practice activity, or "OTAs". No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are permitted.
May 20-21: New York Giants OTA Workouts #1 and #2.
May 23: New York Giants OTA Workout #3 (Media Access).
May 28-29: New York Giants OTA Workouts #4 and #5 (Media Access).
May 31: New York Giants OTA Workout #6.
June 3-4: New York Giants OTA Workouts #7 and #8.
June 6-7: New York Giants OTA Workouts #9 (Media Access) and #10.
June 11-12: New York Giants Mandatory Mini-Camp.
*** Note that during Thursday's OTA, where there will be media access, not only will Brian Daboll address the media but so will the defensive assistant coaches. Hopefully this will include new Outside Linebackers Coach Charlie Bullen.
I would imagine this is going to be a major component of the final episode (or two).
We'll probably get official word on Thursday when the reporters can view practice.

Is he ready to participate in live non-contact activities yet?

If memory serves, were there reports of him throwing and moving around well in the off-season a few weeks or months back?
Eric I think he’s referring to reports such as this one

Reports from whom? Media has not had access to any practices other than the rookie mini-camp.

That's a link to Google.
Are we talking about the photograph that the Giants released of him throwing during Phase 2? Because as far as I know, that's the only evidence we have of him throwing on the field. (Schoen had said earlier he was throwing from a chair or something like that).

Yup, trying to get an indication on where he might be in the rehab ahead of the OTAs when we will likely hear more.
He is 6 months post op this week. I would think he would be pretty limited in any OTA's. Probably a brace and very simple drop back passing. Doubt there is any running/scrambling at this point. My son wrestles at the top wrestling HS in the country and is currently 2.5 months post op from the same surgery and we are hearing he will still be off the mat at the 6 month mark. 8/9 month mark is the target to be back on the mat. ACL injuries SUCK!!! The long term outlook is usually great but they take so damn long to have the graft become one with the bones they are implanted in.
