I will watch 'Silverado' every time it's on TV. The first hour is fast-paced storytelling at it's best. John Cleese is perfect as the Town's Sheriff. Kline, Costner, Scott Glenn, Danny Glover make up a great ensemble cast.

Speaking of Director Lawrence Kasden....The Big Chill never gets old for me. Filmed right down here in Beaufort SC.

John Ford/Duke Wayne westerns are well done too. I just wish he could have filmed some of the early ones in Technicolor.

There are other movies I can watch multiple times, but those two come to mind right away.

Speaking strictly for myself, Mad Mad Mad World is too long at 3 hours. I would cut out every scene with Ethel Merman in it and not miss a single laugh.

Also too long is Michael Cimino's Heavens Gate at 3 1/2 hours. I would shoot that long preamble at Harvard using old still photos narrated by Krisofferson or Walken. That would bring the movie in at 2:20 and about $50 million under budget.

I don't mind long movies -- Coppola's Apocalypse Redux is a favorite of mine. And the Godfather Saga tells the tale chronologically.....a better story.

but a more recent movie that I have watched a bunch of times, not an overly serious one but a feel-good one - Chef with Jon Favreau. Great cast, simple but well done. There's also a few Christmas ones that I have to watch every year and I never get tired from, but I think that's true of a lot of people.
Lots -- will try to avoid those already mentioned

I hated Gump when first seeing it and still think it shouldn’t have won Best Picture over Shawshank, Quiz Show, & Four Weddings & a Funeral. I was never a fan of Pulp Fiction.

That said, Gump has grown on me over the years.
