My goodness there are teams running out horrendous lineups in Major League games. These guys aren’t even young prospects who’re struggling. They’re just AAAA players.
RE: they're not messing with that first seven in the batting lineup
- I wonder if that (resting someone different every day) was one of the things discussed in the off-season and dropped.
Brian Snitker, the Braves manager was asked this past offseason about the Braves playing all their players every single day and he said that THEIR analytics said that keeping players in the lineup keeps them healthier than the constant starting and stopping. The muscles/body need to keep active. Looks like the Yankees auditors agree with those analytics

Makes sense. Not to mention, hitters are more likely to get in a groove with daily ABs. Yanks have had several hitters go on hot streaks so far this season, and none have been interrupted by rest days
I know everybody loves the kids but I'm sorry Trevino
Rodon looks like he is actively working on the change up in this game. Lots of off speed stuff. He just is not as sharp as I have seen but when he needs to, turns it on.
squeezing Yankees pitchers all day. He missed at least three 3rd strikes for Rodon and Tonkin. Gave the Sox pitchers a pretty wide zone. Not talking borderline pitches - in the box pitches.

Yup...he had different strike zones for both teams. He made it pretty obvious too.
I have mentioned this. I agree. The audit that was done I believe is the reason.
We believe it was and have talked about it.

Play the hot hand. Trevino playing great last few weeks. Wells is a good, ascending, backup.
Wow ump with a few squeezes on Rodon and is free and easy the the strike zone for Flexen...

33-15.
