According the the Met threads, WFAN and Cohen's big mouth the Mets are going to be sellers who want to reduce payroll. Right ?
Lets trade Grisham, plus some single A scrub to the Mets for Bader.
We get a real outfielder with a live bat, Cohen/Stearns get to tell their fans that they're clearing out money to sign Soto and they're getting a prospect.

or in a few weeks when he's healthy, let's cut Grisham and put Dominguez back on the roster.

You don't cut starting caliber CFs. You may package him in a deal for a RP. but you don't cut him.
Dominguez is not likely to displace Judge from CF except a time or two per week. Dominguez probably goes to LF. Remember Judge asked to play CF.
Grishom is hitting .061/.244/.152 this year. How much trade value do you think he has?
As for Judge playing center all year, maybe, or maybe he shifts into the DH role, Stanton to the bench, and Dominguez in center, to keep everyone healthy.

there is reason to be concerned about his ability to keep it up.
Almost all his production has come against righties: 152 wRC+ vs. RHP and 81 wRC+ vs. LHP.
His 31.8% strikeout rate is a career high in a full season, his 6.5% walk rate is a career low, and his 31.7% chase rate is his highest since 2012.
Also, his 77.3% in-zone contact rate is well south of his 80.0% career average. When a guy in his mid-30s starts whiffing and chasing more, and walking less, it can be a sign he’s starting his bat early to catch up to velocity.
On that note, Stanton has not yet hit a home run on a pitch over 93.7 mph, and only two of his 11 home runs have come on pitches over 91.9 mph. All his damage has come against average and below velocity.

Stanton is notoriously known for destroying lefties. Not sure how many lefties he has seen this year.
And yeah I know about his issues(last year too) with 95+ FBs.

Even their supposed 'stars' are playing like shit. No thanks.
“More winnable games are lost when you’re behind than anything else.”
What I mean is that when losing a rather close game, managers will often use the underside of the bullpen instead of the best guys and a winnable game with a 2 run deficit turns into 4 and 5 run losses.

Enter Dennis Santana.
