had a flashback to my first Rangers game when I was a kid. In the blue seats for Rangers vs. Caps. Guy sitting next to me doing blow out of a little foil packet. George McPhee beats up Dino Ciccarelli. In honor of that glorious evening many moons ago, my prediction for tonight matches the score back then. 3-1. Let's Go Rangers!!!!!

They have been their own worst enemy...I don't think FL has done anything special. Lock down the forecheck with more body and less stick checks and pin the boards. That's the difference. They can stealthily after a subpar start. FL only has 17 shots themselves. They've been no great shakes no matter what PK says.

Other than a few spurts here and there, mostly beginning of the second, it feels like we're still playing Carolina. Play always in our zone, stars not showing up. If someone is gonna tie this up, it's gonna involve Chytil in some way. He's got some jump at least.

Also, 1 PP so far? I guess that's the issue with living and dying by the PP. I don't even feel like the refs have swallowed the whistle, it just feels like a clean game, which works against us. Unlike Carolina who were tripping rangers left and right and had too many men on the ice multiple times without getting called for it

There is no room on the ice, especially in the offensive zone. We need to figure out a way to get some space on the ice
