I thought Indiana had been lucky in playing two very injured teams. Game 1 makes me think they might be for real. Unfortunately. I dislike them and especially Halliburton.
But one never knows with Boston. They are very inconsistent. Wouldnt surprise me to se them dominate or lose game 2.

Didn't see TWolves Mavs.
They can play with anybody, but when it comes down to crunchtime they lose more than they win, its been like that all season as well..
I wouldnt be shocked if they got blown out tonight
Luka needed to play better halfway into the last series and he's definitely stepped up the last few games including last night.
Ant is an awesome young player but it does feel a little forced how much they're trying to make him the "next guy" and face of the league. Luka's had the best start to a young career since LeBron/Durant and already had playoff success. He's getting a little disrespected by these Ant takes, he very well might be the next "man" of the league.
Still hard to see Boston losing this year. Mavs/Wolves should be really fun.

A close nail biter win in OT was the best thing for the Cs ... they will not underestimate Indy anymore.
you start to realize how soft Haliburton is, first off defensively he is awful but offensively, he nevwr drives to the hoop unless its wide open, he avoids contact at all fricken costs..
Because Luka is the best player in the sport. He should have been the MVP.
I had no problem with Joker winning it, but Luka was right up there. He's just UFB.
Mavs Celtics...that'd be a fascinating Finals, throwing in the Irving angle too. Head tells me Cs would win, but IDK...with how Luka & Irving are performing, I might go Dallas.
He’s playing motivated, under control, and mature.
This is superstar Kyrie, top 10 Kyrie. He lets Luka do his thing but takes over when Luka is off. Best backcourt in the NBA and guards still make the sport run.
The Pacers needed this one to have a chance. To think that they were up 18 at one point in the 3rd and choked away that commanding lead. What a soft team, Haliburton or not.
Horford's one of those guys who has been accused of sucking for seemingly ten years now, yet remains reliable and productive in big spots.
He is and was always a solid player. He just was a jack of all, master of none type of guys. His real problem was Boston overpaid him his first run in free agency.
Brown hits McConnell square in the face, with hard impact, and doesn't come close to getting the ball. But the ref announces that he was going for the ball, therefore no flagrant.
Does the ref say the contact wasn't "excessive"? No, because he knew he would have sounded ridiculous doing so. And if the contact to the head is excessive, it should be a flagrant, by rule. And has been, generally speaking.
Making it strictly an exercise in mind-reading leaves the refs entirely free to apply different standards to different players.
Yup. I'm rooting for the Cs and that was simply a bad call. The refs shouldn't be judging intent, they should be judging outcomes. Hitting a guy in the face while he's airborne is flagrant.

on some of these plays it seems like they're making up the rules as they go along. Sorta reminds me of the play where Hart got thrown out of the game for kicking the Bulls player in the head.
But one never knows with Boston. They are very inconsistent. Wouldnt surprise me to se them dominate or lose game 2.

Mavs Wolves should be a fun one. I said Minnesota in 7 & will stick to that.
No Doris they were at like 25% but good to know the Pacers are still going to get Praised for beating 2 injury riddled team
Its amazing, he never attacks
He has that dog in him that Tatum doesn't.
Even though Gafford was 8-10, he only got 21 minutes and Lively got 27.
Lively was 6-6 tonight. In two games of this series, he is 10-10 from the field, 3-3 FTs, 20 rebounds.
Luka and Kyrie are who they are, but it's the other pieces they are making the difference for the Mavs.
If the Wolves are going to get back into this, Edwards & KAT need to up their games.

Gafford & Lively have been great for them as well.
I really have no dog in this fight...I like the Wolves & Mavs. I'll be rooting for one of them in the Finals.

Defenses literally forget about him. He camps in the parameter and is seemingly always open.
It's remarkable Indiana at no point decided "let's loosely defend the really old, winded, center at the three point line."

Ridiculous.

and in game 2 he pulled the starters with 9 minutes left down 11
Yeah the starters were introduced by the Pillsbury Doughboy
& I can't get over how Boston's path to the Finals. It might be the easiest I can ever recall.

Tatum is a great talent. He just can disappear and doesn't seem to have that killer instinct I'm him.
Minny is in trouble
Bingo!!
They are the favorites IMO.
Mavs are going to be facing better than that from the Celtics. Need Lively back.

I figure Boston will be the favorites, but not an overwhelming one. I'll be rooting for Dallas.
