‘Reminds me of myself’
“Focus on the task,” Nicks said. “The main thing is you got drafted to be a wide receiver and play football. Everything else that comes, don’t jump on the wave. That’s my advice. Because if you ride it when it’s up, you better be able to take it when it goes down. Just do what you do that got you to this point.”
“He kind of reminds me of myself, looking at his run-after-the-catch,” Nicks said. “Not one person is going to bring him down. He showed on his film that he can take a little slant and take it to the house, kind of Odell Beckham-style. LSU, they breed some good wide receivers down there. I’m happy with that pick.”

I don't understand. Why would it be awful to be compared to Tyreek Hill, arguably the best WR of the generation?
He's Hakeem Nicks 2.0.
He's Hakeem Nicks 2.0.
Gotcha. I can’t agree with that view. Nicks was a bit bigger and slower than Nabers. And I think Nabers has a twitchier game, while Nicks played bigger. Of course when Nabers hits an NFL field we'll all know more, but it's because of his twitch and size, that people feel his upside could be Tyreek Hill. I see the possibility. Maybe the more mainline comps are Garrett Wilson and DJ Moore. He has almost identical size/speed to those guys.
YAC is something Daboll will appreciate having Nabers in his offense. Along with Robinson, this will be fun to watch.
100%, a beast. A shame that his injuries led to a short career
Giants did have some unfortunate injury luck for over a decade and Nicks was the one injury that really hurt imv.
