Rangers end up with the face off lead for the game too.

Seemed like Rangers played some of their best hockey for the first 10 minutes of the game, then 3rd period and OT. Battled hard against a tough team

Rangers were the better team tonight. Deserved win.

got to work on clearing their own zone more quickly. Fla's game is to forecheck, and if NYR clear the zone without giving Fla the chance to forecheck they're way ahead in the game. Second, for the Love of God, shoot the puck AND shoot it on net. Rebound goals will make all the difference, and if the puck isn't on net they're not likely to score. Get a split in Fla, win game 5 in NY, and they'll likely move on the Finals (knock wood).

I think Bread tends to back off in physical games but he needs to use his speed to avoid checks and create shots. Also Kreider needs to get his head out of his ass and show up in the game. Goody gets us right back in it. I thought Rangers were better tonight but Panthers are shutting our offense down. Tough team. Lav should play who he wants. No problem with KK sitting. He is in the pool of options for starting spot now .

Of all the opposing head coaches, I like Paul Maurice the most. He’s honest, witty, and accountable.

A bunch, and that’s an incredible shot. The goalie read the play pretty well and is moving to his right basically with the pass. They didn’t show a direct front/ back view but there could only have been a tiny window for a split second to hit that top corner and he absolutely sticks it. Unlike the last series, this guy is not giving up anything soft. Had to be a perfect shot and it was, season on the line.

Panarin was disgraceful. A pussy performance if there ever was one.

Rempe fills an important role. he played a smart, gritty game. that is an ideal 4th line. I hope Vesey is ok

Regardless, Kakko should back in. Granted he hasnt been scoring but he plays a hard-nosed, full rink game and that's the kind of series this is.
