There are a few players I am curious to see what the Giants do with this off season. They are 2 of the more consistently
injury Prone players: Azeez and Aaron Robinson have had a lot of injuries. The story has been yearly "if they can stay healthy" and neither player has really come close to a sustained run of availability. If entering this season its more of the same, is enough, enough? Availability is really important. These 2 are in the last year of their deals, have vested as 3 year vets and have been given ample chances. And neither player was drafted by this regime.
While I hope both have great seasons, the consistent historical data suggests otherwise. In hindsight the Giants kept Shane Lemiux one year longer then they should have. He also had a series of unfortunate injuries. If these 2 trend as they have been trending, I'd prefer the Giants part ways.
Right. One injury but, it seems, complications in his rehab.
If they don’t play and play well this year, not only will they be done here, but it’s hard to imagine much success for the team if they continue to miss time/underperform.
If they can bounce back though, all of a sudden you’re probably talking about a good offensive line and a deep pass rush. 2 staples of a good football team.

Ojulari is likely gone after this season. If he has a big year he’ll want more than the Giants can afford or will want to pay given his injury history. There’s always a team out there that will overpay. If he has another injury filled year he will be out with his contract about to expire.
Neal will stick around I think in 2025 unless he implodes this season. This is year three of a four year deal. When you pick a player that high he’s going to play out his four years unless he’s traded or is a complete disaster.

He actually was injured when Gettleman drafted him. He had a core injury that needed surgery after the Giants drafted him (nice scouting Gettleman) and was on the PUP list all of his rookie training camp.

Robinson had a very serious knee injury with multiple tears, so much so that he wasn't able to be activated at all last season. Prior to that I recall he had his appendix removed, so basically, he has barely been available. This is is 4th season and he has played in 11 games. So he was something like 9/16, 2/17 , 0/17.
Gotta feel bad for any kid what tough situation but can't get on the field you can't count on any player. Waller is in this group IMO.
Regardless of prevailing opinions, my take is the Giants are in win-now mode this year.
They won't be looking to trade contributers for future assets unless we're in-season and they get off to a horrible start.
