As you guys know, mostly, I lean on the side of negativity when it comes to season predictions and I have been very accurate in the past and even predicted the playoff appearence two years ago. However, I see alot of improvement with the coaching staff (Carmen-OL Coach), communication with the players, better commitment from the players, and a seemingly pissed off QB that finally looks like he has an edge to prove something this year.
Here are my other bullet points to justify 13-4:
-This team is only traveling west of Mississippi once this year against Seattle. This bodes well as in last 40 years when this team only travels once to west coast on a single schedule they have at least 10 wins that season.
-I believe this Draft class 2024 will be the Giants best draft class since 1984. Nabers will be an All-Pro in first year, Theo Johnson and Tracy are going to be big surprises. Nubin will be a solid starter at S and that 6th round UCLA LB (Marseau) is going to work his way into the starting lineup
-Our Salary cap actually now has most of all the money on the field (no Golladay money on bench as example).
-7 of the games are against rookie or Journeymen QB's from other teams. When the giants have a schedule of at least 45% QB's of this makeup on a schedule over last 40 years they have a 75% winning percentage. (yes, i evem took into account Kurt Kittner!!-still realing from that loss)
-Dallas and Eagles this year are falling back to pack. No fletcher Cox or Kelce, Dax is barely hanging on and there OL is in flux and they lost some good coaches in Dallas.
In any event, this combination above will serve the Giants well this year.
My loss predictions are 1-1 with Eagles, Dallas, and Seattle.
We will crush Panthers in Munich.

My prediction is 9-8. Expecting some guys to emerge as budding stars (Thibodeaux) and ascending good players (Banks). I like this rookie class and expect more from the 2nd and 3rd year guys.
The keys is QB and OL play. If that clicks, the ceiling is realistic. Likely there will be bumps, so a 9-8 seems like where we’ll land. If QB and OL remain a disaster, then 6 wins is about right. The D will be good this year, and expecting ST to be above average (more focus on ST this year with coaching and player changes).

But we haven't had a new OL coach who's proven with 2 different franchises that he can take a mediocre or bad OL and turn it into a good one.
That along with the talent added on both sides the last 2 yrs., gives me hope. Not 13 win hope, but I think 10-11 wins is possible if we don't get destroyed again by injuries.
This is totally fair. However, we haven’t seen a rebuild like the one Schoen has engineered, ever. Will it work. I don’t know. But this is on a different level than we’ve seen before. Better than the alternative.

I also compared the schedules for each year and outlined who many times in each season they traveled west of Mississippi. In my Findings, every time the Giants only traveled once west of Mississppi in a season they won at least 10 games.

The main reason is Coaching. I still believe they got the right guy in Daboll. His coaching job in 2022 was among the best I’ve ever seen. Now he has more talent, and more of his guys…
The other reason is the roster itself. Burns and Nabers change the dynamic of their position groups and entire units. WR and Edge are two positions where you need an alpha in the group. It changes the way opponents gameplan for you, and it frees up the complementary pieces while sliding others in roles where they are better suited (Edge: KT as a #2, Azeez as a rotational guy WR: Hyatt as a field stretcher, WDR as an underneath guy working against Nickels, Slayton as a #3 or #4 option)
