Overall, offense counts twice as much as defense? QB affects less than half of the passing game score? Offensive line's impact on the running game?
Potential for lots of discussion I guess. Curious to see how this thread develops.

2% for ST is outdated with new KO rules. There’s gonna be many “chunk” returns past mid field that will affect W/L this season.
How did you get 18%? And does the number even matter? I think everyone agrees that QB play is important.
BTW, I've never heard of these Podcaster. What's their reputation?
Actually I'd say his take on the Giants was WAY MORE reasonable than most Giants fans here.
What's his agenda, and what has he made up to fit it?
Please be specific.
What’s yours?

Not a great calculus for the Giants to score well.

I think it is actually 28% (65%*45%). Really hard to formalize this process in my mind. I think Mahomes is worth more than that. I think Purdy is worth a lot less. It depends on how you structure your team.

Overall: 65% offense, 33% defense, 2% specials - 65%
Of that 65% for offense: 67% passing game, 33% running game - 67% of 65%, or 43.55%
Of that 67% (passing game) of that 65% (offense): 42% QB, 28% Weapons, 19% Pass Blocking, 9% Pass Game Coaching, 2% OVR Coach & Culture - 42% of 43.55%, or 18.291% of the team's overall score, is attributable to QB by the valuation listed in the OP.
I'm not making a case for or against the percentages that are listed here, just pointing out that however they were arrived upon (likely arbitrarily, but I'd be open to the data if it exists), they reflect an implied 18.3% of the overall score being a product solely of the QB.

Thank you, much appreciated.
