I don't follow college closely but know LSU puts out some great WRs. I was curious how Malik compares to other greats. Attached is an article from an LSU Tigers site. Some might already know this stuff, but for those who don't, the list includes Ja'Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, Dwayne Bowe, OBJ, et al.
"Nabers is now LSU’s all-time leader in catches and yards. Setting both records near the end of 2023.
He led the country in yards per game last year and was a big play machine, averaging 17.6 yards per catch and 14 touchdowns."
Nabers, along with Carmen Bricillo and a better OL (under Bricillo I expect the young guys to improve & the added vets to solidify) are major reasons for optimism.
When was the last time the Giants had a WR trio with the potential of Nabers, Wan'Dale & Hyatt? (I'm thinking '11, but at this time that yr we didn't even know what that trio would become (GREAT!!))
I know some are going to say - what about the QB?! I don't know for sure if he'll succeed, but there are many examples of QBs improving when stud receivers are added and it's a fact that he's never had anywhere close to these kinds of weapons OR a decent OL.
We're going to find out this year if the "excuses" were legit or not. Some have already made up their minds. I'm not going into the season like that.

The problem will be can our oline and qb get him the ball?

Superstar players always get their numbers....
Hard to swallow OBJ is only the LSU WR #11. Before his injury and his early success went to his head, I'd think he'd be in their top 5.
Anyway...
Granted they’re both pro bowlers and all pro candidates but I think the consensus is JJ is the best WR in the game. When they were drafted why was chase so much further ahead?

I'm pretty sure this is based solely on their college career, not their NFL career.
Recently? It is really close. Those are the two premier colleges.

football watcher anymore, but who has a better WR NFL track record, LSU or Ohio State?

Seems like it - they're both loaded in recent history.

He moves with a certain fluidity and suddenness. If the oline holds their end Daniel Jones will get the ball to the wr's! If the Giants defense holds up they will win 10 games!
