NFT: Citi Field to Yankee Stadium

Steve L : 7/6/2024 6:06 pm
Wife and I are headed to see the Foos at Citi Field later in the month. We are staying near the stadium. We have tix to a 1:05 Yankee game the following day. Best ways to get there without driving? How much time should we plan to get there?

Thank you!

This, or LIRR to GC then Metro North to YS.

7 to the 4 will be cheaper

Not sure LIRR stops at Grand Central. I could be wrong. It has been a while since I commuted to NYC.

Easiest and cheapest was mentioned above- 7 train to Grand Central and 4 train to Yankee Stadium. Figure an hour at least, maybe as much as 90 minutes depending on connection.

it does as of last year. Trains can diverge at Jamaica and got to both.

But yeah 7 to the 4 is the easiest.

It does now. There is a whole brand new multi-billion dollar sublevel in Grand Central now.
