AFC North review
The key to the giant season has to be winning 3 games again in the NFC East but getting a win or two against the AFC North is pretty essential for a decent season. Did not realize that Baltimore lost 3 players from O line. Could that make them vulnerable? Bengals with problems on defense and you never know if Burrows is on the field. Browns and Steelers might not get great QB play. Still NY will be under dogs against each of these teams.

On paper, all 4 are better teams than the Giants..

But we have seen upsets before. Right now I'm hoping that game in Cleveland early in the season isn't a blood bath.

Giants revamped O line and Run D will be tested right out of the gate. If they're at least competitive in that one I'll feel really good about the year as a whole.
Interesting take

They have all 4 teams between 8 and 10.5 wins. If the Giants are a game or two better than Vegas thinks, these 4 teams are not much better than us. I ain't scured.
The Giants are really young and have a lot of unknowns

A lot of players that are in the developmental stage of their careers. There isn’t a unit on the team that doesn’t have multiple players in that category. Neal and JMS. Nabers and Hyatt. Gray and Tracey. Bellinger and Johnson. Davidson and Riley. Thibs and McFadden. Flott and Banks. Nubin and Pinnock. And these aren’t 3rd stringers. These are frontline guys. I really like the talent. Hope they can perform.
Why do we hear the schedule is much easier this season?

Last season they played the AFC East while this sa

eson they play the AFC North.
I think the Giants have a better roster than Pitt

this is the year Tomlin’s .500 streak ends.

Other three teams are probably better than the Giants but each have QBs with lots of upside but above average injury risk. Upsets happen all the time but maybe giants catch one or more of these teams at the right time.
Saying this now

As a team that is focused on running the football, controlling the clock and playing defense, the loss of Bill Callahan is massive for The Browns.
AFC. North, top to bottom, is best division in football.

Last year 31-13 combined non-divisional record, in spite of Browns and Bengals each losing their starting QBs for much of the season. Steelers won 10 games with Kenny Pickett and Mason Rudolph at QB. This year they have Russell Wilson and Justin Fields.
Are they beatable? Of course. But it’s delusional to try to think they aren’t top opponents. As OP says, Giants will rightly be underdogs in each of these games.
