Spending the week there for Games 5 and 6....
I'm combining the annual football trip /w a family trip. Any good family recommendations?
I was figuring ...
Pike Place Market
Museum of Pop Culture
Seattle Aquarium
Chinatown-International District (Jr likes to learn about Asian cultures (Anime influence))
* South Lake Union--you'll be right there near the Pop Culture Museum. There are lots of restaurants/bars and it's a pretty nice walk. There's a Museum of Industry and History or something like that. Lots of wooden boats.
* Bainbridge Island--take a ferry from downtown. Bainbridge is pretty cool on its own, but the views on the ferry of the Seattle skyline are incredible. You can walk onto the ferry.
* Whidbey Island--it's a 45 min drive then another ferry, but if you have some time this is pretty cool too. There's a town named Langley very close to the ferry that is worth seeing. You can drive onto this ferry.
Don't forget to go to the Space Needle.
beautiful stadium. they had the roof open, such great scenery and it was very clean, and better than average stadium beer and food selection.
Also second the Seattle Underground tour.

already listed. I would add:

I'm on my way up to Whidbey Island right now. By all means the Bainbridge Island ferry is a must. They've also built up the area around the downtown ferry terminal. Its one of the best parts in town. Whidbey Island is also accessible by ferry from the south, or you can take the Deception Pass bridge from the north which is very scenic.
Crazy--I just moved from Redmond to Freeland (on Whidbey Island) earlier this year. We love it up here.
Pike's Market was a larger version of a farmers market and features food stands, crafts and the so-called "gum wall" a corridor where thousands of pieces of gum have been stuck to the wall.
UW campus is really nice and there is a biking/jogging/walking trail that runs through there and goes on for miles.
Never had a bad meal in Chinatown.
The Best Oysters and Steak period.
Have they addressed the ferry situation ?
Ferries are still hit and miss, but we've found the right rhythm and don't get stuck on waiting lines too often. The biggest issue right now is the personnel on the ferries, most times that capacity is impacted is due to not enough skilled workers being available for sailing. We do love it here though, not regretting moving here at all.
