Is back. Christ, gives Jones and Cabrera seven straight games. Jones has a hit in all but one game he has started since the beginning of May, while starting about once every two weeks. He's outhitting LeMahieu by 80 points. LeMahieu has had 140 plate appearances and is hitting .177 - and dropping. He is neither driving in or scoring runs. He has 11 RBIs - and has hit into 9 double plays. Judge has 89 RBIs and 14 double plays - and people think THAT'S a lot. Imagine if Judge had the same RBI to GDP ratio - that would be 80 double plays.

Cabrera, with sporadic playing time is producing more per at bat than Torres - and he does not have the brain farts on the bases or in the field that Torres has virtually every week.

And put Soto at one and Judge at two. Why give up an out more than 80 percent of the time before Soto hits in the first inning.

Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is insanity. And the Yankee way.

You have at least another four weeks to Dominguez is in the picture, and even then he'll need a bunch of rehab games to get ready. Don't expect him until after Labor Day - if then.

He's been pretty pitcher friendly, in my view, but I'm rooting for the Yankees to score a ton of runs so I may be biased.

We need and deserve more "easy" games like today.

but Judge and Soto, I think Soto will have no interest in signing a long term deal with NY and will most likely sign with the Dodgers (or any other team that demonstrates that it has firepower up and down the lineup). Yanks need the Martian to play this year, and maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to bring up Spencer Jones, otherwise I fear Soto will not be interested.

Soto/Boras are going to use Cohen to drive up the price. Then Soto will see who wants to pay him. That's who gets him.

Soto said the other day that he would be amenable to playing with Ohtani. A lineup of Ohtani, Freeman, Betts, Smith, and Hernández is more than intimidating. With Soto, it could be unstoppable.
