No Torres. I'm sure Boone will just poo poo it as he needed a break or something, but I hope it was due to his bullshit terrible play yesterday. (Probably not.)
I used to think it was a great blessing to live in a world where I can have Yankees games on in the background while working. Now I am less sure about that.
Definitely not the bottom 4 guys in that order.
Cabrera, with sporadic playing time is producing more per at bat than Torres - and he does not have the brain farts on the bases or in the field that Torres has virtually every week.
And put Soto at one and Judge at two. Why give up an out more than 80 percent of the time before Soto hits in the first inning.
Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is insanity. And the Yankee way.
You have at least another four weeks to Dominguez is in the picture, and even then he'll need a bunch of rehab games to get ready. Don't expect him until after Labor Day - if then.
He's had a really good process and nice batted ball metrics, and just feels like he's constantly been on the wrong end of the luck equation.
I wanted to puke. Only this organization gives clearly cooked vets 400 abs-Ask Aaron Hicks. The trade deadline better change that.
With the way this bullpen has been
I don’t get it
Yeah, especially considering I have the over :(
He's been pretty pitcher friendly, in my view, but I'm rooting for the Yankees to score a ton of runs so I may be biased.
We need and deserve more "easy" games like today.
That's first part of the season Rodon. More of this version of Rodon, please.
Soto/Boras are going to use Cohen to drive up the price. Then Soto will see who wants to pay him. That's who gets him.

but Judge and Soto, I think Soto will have no interest in signing a long term deal with NY and will most likely sign with the Dodgers (or any other team that demonstrates that it has firepower up and down the lineup). Yanks need the Martian to play this year, and maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to bring up Spencer Jones, otherwise I fear Soto will not be interested.

Soto said the other day that he would be amenable to playing with Ohtani. A lineup of Ohtani, Freeman, Betts, Smith, and Hernández is more than intimidating. With Soto, it could be unstoppable.
Good to know.
