Let's let it play out, but there is a dearth of talent in the entire NFL at oline. Let's hope they can get 9 guys that can actually play at near NFL average.

Can the same be said about QBs throwing TDs with no pressure?

Comments from the front office about needing a new CB in the offseason and this nugget make me think the org doesn’t like what it’s seeing from Flott.

When you primarily play zone, you need your corners to support the run. Right off the bat, he's at a disadvantage. He needs to be that much better in coverage if he wants to stick.

This. I’d wager a third of the league doesn’t even have 5 starting level Olineman

OL essentially has third string OT play with others out.

Plus there's a bunch of new guys, and I believe Kubas has the leg up on the LG position. I like that.

It's a matter of degree of dysfunction with the offensive line.

For the last dozen or so years, the early reports have been bad. And the reassurance is it's early, no one has depth, this guy is out. And every year the Giants have been appreciably worse than most teams.

At some point the observers are smart enough to compare today to what they've seen in the past, and make the connection to the level of suck early and how that translated to later.

The Schoen Giants have put together back-to-back shitty lines in 2022 and 2023. This is the area where I think it's quite justified for the media to skeptical.

then you have to start adding RB/TE's and going to more max protection schemes taking targets of the field. SF '23 game.
I see issues with run blocking so pass sets are critical.

One poster mentioned that Bricillo didn't like the spacing with the OL under Johnson. I wonder if that is scheme related to the Giants designed shotgun pass/run option they rely on.

Ojulari for both health and fit reasons has been such a disappointment. He's got a prime opportunity this year to make a good paycheck as a rotational pass rusher.

thats the biggest flaw on every Bad OLine…. If they regularly make it to assiments their performance will be highly survivable, and it might be good
