Giants first team OL today
LT Andrew Thomas
LG Jon Runyan
C Greg Van Roten
RG Aaron Stinnie
RT Jermaine Eluemunor
GVR will kick to RG when JMS (shoulder) returns. My sense is JMS could be back early next week.
This should keep Runyan at guard.

Daboll said this isn’t related to concern about JMS’ health. My read is it’s more about a concern with the backup center options. If JMS were to miss time during the season my guess is they’d shift a guard (likely GVR) to center and then plug Stinnie in at guard

Actually, Dan on BigBlueBanter, who is most certainly not a Jones apologist, brought this point up. With Jones' injuries and to a lesser extent WanDale's, How much actual game time has Jones' had with the top 3 receivers? It's not as much as you would expect from a starting QB.
Aaron Rodgers seems to have no problem completing passes to Garret Wilson.

Well yeah, Jones ain't Rodgers nor is he comparable to any other top 15 QB in the league.

I always had a fear about JMS and his lack of physical and athletic capability, and it is being born out. This is going to be another disappointing pick of this unit.

Mike Kafka said he was pleased with the #Giants diverse TE room
He spoke on the different skill-sets and stated that Theo Johnson is on a rep count and is being ramped up through training camp.
We’ve already seen first team reps from Theo through camp.
@JordanRaanan
OC Mike Kafka looks at the underthrown deep balls from Daniel Jones this summer as “part of practicing.” He doesn’t think it’s physical. Believes it’s more learning the wide receivers, working on timing and gaining familiarity,
Add ‘part of practicing’ to bw’s list of excuses.

Michael Ghobrial highlighted three special teams players in his predraft press conference:
Miles Boykin: (was asked) said he’s a tone setter who sets the example
Matthew Adams: tough interior asset on ST
Chris Manhertz: Owns his role on ST, veteran leadership

No it isn't. It is real. But it cannot linger. By the end of this week it should be settled out or close. Nabers is new. Hyatt got little time last season. It is not just timing but the QB and WR being on the same page with read (which is a whole different issue with Jones). Good news is there is not much difference in speed between Nabers, Hyatt and Slayton. They are all very fast, talking hundredths of a second.
I hate to give Jones backing, but there is absolutely a need to get the timing between QB and WR correct.

Daniel to Theo Johnson on a nice seam
-Lock nice ball to Stoll
-Tyrone Tracy with 2s
-Ty Herndon nice play on a screen, TFL
That would be a very likely reason for not yet getting the most out of the deep balls.
Short/intermediate throws would certainly be timing as the ball is coming out at the top of the break.

Another tipped interception for the #Giants safety depth.
UDFA Alex Johnson was the beneficiary against the third team offense.
Im seeing reports on Twitter..
Brock Purdy throwing INTS in camp
Joe Burrow overthrowing receivers in camp
Josh Allen throwing three INTs in a row in camp
Trevor Lawrence not looking good in camp
But only in NY is this an issue the FIRST week of camp..

There's a story in today's Post that they've been having 'heated discussions' on the sidelines because they are having miscommunication on routes.

That was one incident from last week.
The other big cause is body mass caused by roids and weightlifting. Guys are stronger/faster, but skeletal/connective tissue structure is the same.

Couple early practice notes:
• Undrafted rookie Alex Johnson, who has been practicing at safety, has two INTSs. One off Lock, one off DeVito, both on tips/over-throws.
• Josh Ezeudu got his first guard reps of camp at LG with the second-team offense.
