AAA-
Acuna 1-4, BB, SB, K (July OPS .555, he still may be up late in the season to provide speed/defense but his window for coming up and playing regularly this season has probably closed. He has to hit better)
Baty
1-4, 2b (Like much of the Mets system July was not a great month for Baty. It seems more likely than not he's going to be with another organization in 2025, maybe as part of a potential Alcantara deal? We shall see)
Ritter 1-4, HR (21st), 3 k's (he's now 3rd in the IL in HR's)
JBJ 1-4, HR, BB, K (also threw out a runner at the plate)
Jarvis 2 innings 6 hits 4 runs 2 walks 2 k's
J. Ramirez (skipped AA) 1 inning 1 hit 0 runs 1 walk 2 k's (FB up to 94)
AA
Ramirez 0-4 (just an atrocious season for Ramirez. Extremely high odds he's either dealt for a low level minor leaguer that doesn't need a 40 man spot, or is DFA'ed)
Rudick 2-4, 2B, K
Clifford 0-4, K (5 for his last 38. Still finishes July with an .873 OPS for the month, 30 k's over 83 ab's obviously is too many)
Consuegra 3-4, HR, K
Suarez 6 innings 1 hit 0 runs 0 walks 9 k's (took a perfect game into the 6th. He's a 6-year FA after the season so unless the Mets add him to the 40, he can sign explore opportunities with other teams)
SRF 1 perfect 3 k's
BK (game 1)
Morabito 1-4, 2 k's
Reimer 1-3
Suero 2-4, K (one of the best pure athletes in the organization)
Wenninger 4 innings 4 hits 2 runs 3 walks 5 k's (I suspect he ends up in the bullpen, but a quietly having a very solid season, his CU is a real weapon)
Herrera 1.1 innings 1 hit 0 runs 1 walk 2 k's (Really nice pickup on a minor league deal. He's made 12 appearances and has only allowed 1 ER while striking out 27 over 25.1 innings)
BK (game 2)
Morabito 1-4, 2 SB, K
Suero 1-3, BB, 2 SB
Tong 5.1 innings 6 hits 2 runs 1 walk 10 k's
St. Lucie
Baro 2-4, 2b (Very solid season for Baro, certainly one to watch going forward)
Ewing 1-5, 3B, 2 k's (has struggled post promotion to St. Lucie but has more power than his frame would suggest and remains one of the more intriguing young hitters in the system)
Hernandez 3-5 (one of the mst underrated performers in the system, questions regarding can he remain a C impact his projection, but could be a bat first MLB backup C who also sees some time at 1b)
Houck 1-4, HR, BB, 2 k’s , 3 errors(Very disappointing season for the Mets 2023 1st round pick)
Henriquez 1-5 (Not much power but this kid can HIT. If he can add some more strength he has a shot to be a big league utility player)
Acuna now 2-3, HR, 2b
Saul Garcia 1 inning 2 k's (he's a fun arm to follow), Marte 1-1, SB #Mets
Roselli as well
#FREELUKE 2-3, 2b, BB for Luke Ritter, Acuna 2-4, HR, 2b, Baty 0-4, 3 k's, Gilbert 1-4, K, Hamel 3.1 innings 5 hits 3 runs 5 walks 4 k's, SRF 1 inning 2 hits 0 runs 1 walk 2 k's, one to forget for Justin Jarvis 1.2 innings 5 hits 3 runs 2 walks #Mets
Nice!!

@BaseballAmerica ranks @mets farm system #10. The Mets were ranked #8 in BA's preseason rankings @fangraphs also ranks @mets system #10 #Mets
Good. How can they climb up those rankings going forward for this point Dan? International signings? Prospect advancement?
Health would be a huge one. Essentially "lost" seasons by Jett Williams, Mauricio, Calvin Ziegler and Marco Vargas and truncated seasons from Gilbert/Reimer and now Jesus Baez (one of their few breakouts) done for the year. Obviously, hasn't helped that Acuna/Parada/Houck have all largely disappointed in 2024.
Thanks Dan. When is the next influx of talent available (i.e., international signings)?
In what’s likely one of his final starts of the season (innings) Jonah Tong 5 innings 2 hits 4 runs 6 walks 5 k’s. Tong allowed both hits and 4 of his walks in the 2nd inning. The fact he gutted it out and lasted 5 innings is a positive sign
Suarez actually has very similar numbers to Tyler Stuart
Stuart 119 innings 3.49 FIP, 8.92 k/9, 4.07 K/BB
Suarez 121 innings 3.22 FIP, 9.07 k/9, 3.94 K/BB
@FCLMets
2024 Draft picks Eli Serrano III (4th rd) and Jacoby Long (17th rd) each picked up RBI hits in today's Bridge Camp action against the Cardinals.

Mets Minors Game Chat: Brandon Sproat Making Triple-A Debut Posted by Michael Mayer | Aug 8, 2024 - ( New Window )
Same. I have no idea how any other prospect in the entire Mets minor league system can be ranked above Sproat.
All 6 runs came in the 2nd inning (2 HR’s)

14. Jeremy Rodriguez, SS, Mets
Age: 18. B-T: L-R. Ht.: 6-0. Wt.: 170. Acquired: Trade, 2023 (D-backs).
After being signed by the Diamondbacks in 2023, Rodriguez was traded to the Mets in the deal that sent outfielder Tommy Pham to Arizona. He moved stateside this year and showed intriguing upside, albeit with some warts. None of his tools stands out, and he’s likely to be a hit-over-power player thanks to a feel for the barrel without standout strength. There’s some pull-side juice, but he’s likely to rack up singles and doubles. Scouts are split defensively on whether Rodriguez will wind up at shortstop or second base, with just average range and fair arm strength as factors that might push him to the right side of the infield.

Josh, Simon Juan received a "big" bonus from the Mets, admittedly struggled 2022,2023 but posted a 113 wRC+ with 7 homers as an 18 year old, how close was he?
Josh Norris
now
He was not close. Scouts who covered that team did not list him among the players who caught their eye.

That time of year: The Mets just let go (two days ago, actually) three veteran scouts: Ash Lawson, Tony DeFrancesco & Rudy Terrasas. All highly regarded in the scouting world. Generally speaking, it continues to be to the sport’s shame the treatment of scouts, both amateur & pro
