Agreed. They need more swing and miss guys in the pen and he could be just what the doctor ordered if they can get him back to his old form.
looks done. Bottom 3% of the league in K%, bottom 4% in whiff. Other than still throwing hard, he's done nothing remotely well this season.
I'm not suggesting the Yankees claim him, he's got like a little less than $15million left on his contract, but if he's willing to take a minor league deal with an opt out sometime in August, it gives the Yankees two weeks to work him up and they are paying the league minimum - and sticking the Astros with the rest of the bill. It's a no risk high reward play as long as it's a minor league deal.
