I hope the reports of Burns and Thibs beating Thomas have more to do with coaching from Andre Patterson (especially for Thibodeaux) than an issue with Thomas.
I'll tend to hope / agree it's about Thibodeaux getting better, regardless of the reason.
took note of the Thibs mentions against AT. Burns had a win against AT last week too that was eye opening. That bodes well for the Giants pass rush if it carries over to the season. Thibs putting it all together along with Burns and Dex could transform the defense.
Looks like he could be taking McFadden’s reps.

but we need to be paying more attention to Dyontae Johnson.

McFadden is nursing a hamstring injury so they've limited his reps. But Johnson keeps making plays.
BOBBY OKEREKE: He's a playmaker. He's athletic. Profile-wise, he kind of looks like me out there. So, he's a good player.

🙏🙏🙏.
I'd like to see him and Theo Johnson take over the starting roles at their positions.
I have high hopes for the following new players:
Nabers (of course)
Andru Phillips
Theo Johnson
Dyontae Johnson
Dante Miller
And these returning players to step up:
W Robinson
J Hyatt
I Simmons
J Riley
D Davidson
The weakness at Corner is probably going to be their undoing. It's a critical flaw. Pass rush has to be first-rate to cover up for that.
With McFadden out and a new D coordinator, Dyontae might be in pole position
