Get off with this shit about fans hoping he 'bombs'. This is such a ludicrous statement. 99.99999999% of Giant fans want him to succeed because, as you stated, if he has a good year, the Giants likely have a good year.
I'm one of his biggest critics, but I'll gladly eat crow if he lights it up this fall.

I think that still remains to be seen. We all thought there would an improved Neal at RT with Eluemunor at Guard. JMS has missed most of camp and now he’s injured. We may not have even a sub par swing tackle so, I’m not so sure this line will be noticeable better.
DJ, in his best year, with 5 seasons under his belt, hasn't approached those offensive numbers, not even close. His best year he accounted for about 3900 total yards passing and rushing with 22 TDs combined. Sometimes I just can't.

Bringing up another example of something that DID happen is NEVER an argument to suggest that another instance did NOT happen.
It's an argument to point out that BOTH instances happened, and provide context therein.

I was referring to this post because speedy is absolutely correct. Posters want Jones to suck so they can admit they are right rather than be wrong.
Terps has openly admitted he rather see the giants lose every game than see Jones make the playoffs.
Now if I'm right, I give myself a high five for being logical. I've reviewed the evidence and made a reasoned guess on what will happen.
If I'm wrong, I get to enjoy the Giants winning the same as anyone. And I don't even have to embarrass myself afterwards and start a thread along the line of that "I'm happier Go Terps was wrong than I am the Giants won."
You guys should all come to my side. You win no matter what.
Five years is a lot of data, even when you adjust for the missed time with injuries.
I have said it before - I'm just sick of watching Jones try to play QB in the NFL. It's exhausting.
Jones is one of the luckiest players in NFL history with the patience and money an NFL organization has paid for him.

If he plays like he usually does, that was enough to get him $40M per year because our owner has a crush on him. It will be enough to keep him in his bizarrely secure position in 25 and possibly renegotiate, which will allow him to keep sucking the life out of the franchise through 27.
If he sucks, we have a chance to unshackle ourselves.
Hurts sure didn't look very good before Brown and Smith got there (even though he still had an OL). Now everyone's thinking all those squats he did made him MVP calibre.

Did you watch him before Smith & Brown got there? He was God awful.
