Two weeks away from the first game, who are you looking forward to watching?
Daylen Everett at Georgia, Max Hairston at Kentucky and Taz Nicholson are some 2025 CBs I’m very interested in seeing how they’ve progressed. Edwin Joseph at FSU has the chance to end up as a top 10 corner in the country by the end of the year as a sophomore based on how he looks in the offseason so far.
Kaiden Slater at Liberty and Donovan Smith at Houston are going to be two fun QBs to watch .
Walker is 6’5 and 350. Will be a top 15 pick. Could be first Dt off the board

Very big on Deon Walker. Kaimon Rucker at UNC and Jihaad Campbell at Alabama are two LBs that may jump on draft boards by the time we hit Halloween
I'm including Sanders because I don't think there's a shot in hell we'd draft Shadeur considering who his old man is.

As a Penn State fan, keep an eye on Abdul Carter. A good-looking edge prospect who doubled his sack total to 8 and was very good at knocking down passes. Carter has ideal size and length and can disrupt both the run and pass. If he keeps his trajectory, this is a day one prospect. Obviously, Allar, too, since he does have so many physical tools for a QB prospect. I doubt TE will be a need, but State may have a better prospect with than Johnson with Tyler Warren.
If we have to be back in the market for a T, this is shaping up to be a good class. LSU has two studs in Jones and Campbell. The T for NC State Anthony Belton is an aircraft carrier and one I look forward to watching. NC State is going to be an interesting squad with McCall in at QB.
Thomas too, forgot about him. FSU defense is going to be extremely talented again. Earl Little is going to be good as well it seems.
But when it comes to tackles I think it’s the two LSU kids Jones and Campbell and a large gap between everyone else

With the brutally hard SEC this season, we will see all we need to about Beck and Ewers. I think the SEC has 6 or 7 teams in the top 25. For example Texas plays #1 UGA, #8 Mich, and #15 Oklahoma in the first 7 weeks. Georgia at Texas in Austin will be a massive game.

Beck, Ewers, & which QBs emerge...this is for obvious reasons.

Texas gets off pretty light in the SEC imo. Avoiding Bama and LSU, getting Oklahoma on a neutral field and Georgia at home is probably as favorable of a conference schedule there is in the SEC. Their toughest conference road game is maybe Texas A&M?

From Kentucky is a fast mountainous man who can dominate the line of scrimmage with Dex

Deone Walker is a lot of fun to watch, they move him outside on third downs to rush the passer.
We're all going to be watching Jeremiah Smith this year, even as a freshman you are hearing "generational talent".
Keep an eye on Benjamin Morrison. He did a great jobs vs. Marvin Harrison Jr. last fall in a game that still gives me agita.

I haven't looked at the other top SEC teams and their schedules, so I can't really comment if Texas has an easier or harder conference schedule than the others. I will say I think they are nuts scheduling to be at Michigan in their second game. Thats a hard place to win, and they had to know the rest of their schedule was going to be much harder than previous years since they were moving in to the SEC.
Just absurd, but it is what it is.

That might be my Rutgers trip to check in on some guys
I don’t think an 11-2 Texas with a loss to Georgia potentially twice gets an at large given the rest of their conference schedule
Grant next to Lawrence would be insane. Graham is a beast but I think I rather QB in round 1 and hope Grant slides to round 2.
I'm stoked college football is less than 3 weeks away. I can't wait to be in College Station for ND-Aggies. I'm nervous-I was born nervous-but ND needs to win that one. CFP is a must this year for ND.

As an aside, I'm going to Washington-Rutgers late September in Piscataway. This is a conference game. A Big Ten conference game.

Think Powell if he's healthy is a really good prospect. KM has some potential as a later RB. Also think Baily Lewis and Mo Toure may have a shot at being drafted. Your thoughts?
They had to get a new QB. Whimsatt was a 47 % passer. They are going to run it w Moningai and Brown and Athan just needs to not suck and be able to make make basic throws. They are going to run and play D. Also the transfer WR Miller may be pretty good.
Duff is supposedly a real find. We will se. But you are right. It's a run offense
McMillan = stud.
On the SEC and Big Ten scheduling front, some teams got gifts, Missouri being one. One of the reasons for the Rutgers hype is they don't have Ohio State-Michigan-Penn state for the first time and that Washington game is Friday night at home.
At QB I also am keeping an eye on Donovan Smith and Graham Mertz

Could rise up the QB rankings this fall

Outside of the Mertz family, I think I am one of the few fans who like Mertz as a prospect. ;)
I saw some good things at UF last year. So, I'm very interested to see if he can build on that...

Yep as I watched some stuff on Pearsall I noticed Mertz looking like a totally different QB than I had seen earlier in his career.

Donovan Edward’s and Colston Loveland are 2 I’d be very interested in. Notre Dame has a really good Tight End as well
On offense there are more question marks, but the offensive line looks to be a strength with guys like Darius Washington leading the way at LT.

Farmer too.
Matoyer is one of my top guys at TE. Had some production at Cincinatti we’ll see how he does at ASU but he’s the speed matchup nightmare at tight end I’d love to have here.

I think after seeing people like Isaiah Simmons bust, Haason Reddick struggle to start his career, etc. it might take a DC with the right vision to know how to use him correctly.

In the league. A lot of scouts told me the same about Deloach from FSU and now he’s getting reps and playing well in practice with Tampa’s 1s.

Right, you’d need someone creative to take advantage of his skill set.
