Well as we all know the Giants will likely be in the market for a QB in the draft. It would be fun to track these guys as the college season progresses.
While I doubt Sanders will be a guy they will be interested in due to all that comes with him, the Buffs are in action tonight. Sanders’ stats are off to a fast start but his 41 TD, while a nice throw on a comebacker, was a long play because of poor defense and tackling. Second TD was a duck while being hit to a WFO receiver who proceeded to outrun everyone on NDSU.
Let’s see how the rest of the evening plays out…
ND State is a FCS dynasty. They can play with most FBS teams.
Depend upon it.
The Giants would be extremely fortunate to secure the services of this young man.
and Shadeur has a shit ton of talent, kid is tough as nails to, he takes a ton of hits and continues to stand in the pocket..
Depend upon it.

There is legit concern about the baggage he could bring, but there are some quality tools there. Especially the way he stands in the pocket and makes throws under duress.
He lifts the talent around him and makes things happen with less, I would happy to see him in blue.

Yawn…

They’re very slow. The speed difference is astronomical.
Maybe. We'll see. But I think Shedeur has Raiders written all over him.
Just absolutely killed a drive where the QB was cooking. Just stupid.
Mediocre by shadeur or by colorado?
Top ten...comfortably.
Again, ND St is not an ordinary FCS team. And Colorado is a middle of the pack FBS team at best.
He’s been in college for like 10 years lol
He has great, great hands and he looks pretty damn sticky on the cover. I would go corner, but some packages on O.

Has a good start to the year

Cam Rising is going the Brandon Weeden route. I would hope he dominates!
It's embarrassing. They've won 10 of the last 14 FCS titles with one runner-up.
One of their players made our team as an UDFA, Jake Kubas.
He's athletic, no doubt about that, but he's not as athletic as say, Lamar Jackson or Justin Fields. His dad was way more athletic.
Average athlete in my view. Not fast or elusive, but he has the ability to move around and buy time.
Hard pass.
Colorado looks to be the same paper tiger they were last year. They will put up some points, give up a lot of points, and probably lose many more games than they will win.
Shedeur would bring a ton of baggage with him to the NFL to the point where he is likely only a fit in a few places with a few ownership groups. I think there is zero chance John Mara would allow the Giants to bring him in and his associated media circus.
Having said all of that, Shedeur Sanders can play QB. The guys stands behind a ridiculously porous Oline and takes big hits and delivers the ball on time and accurately. Yes he has Travis Hunter who is an incredible talent, but if you can't see the ball placement in the face of pressure over and over again, you are simply seeing what you want to see. The guy has an immense amount of talent. Arguing he isn't very good just doesn't pass the most basic smell test.
1 Carson Beck QB 6-3, 220 Georgia
2 Luther Burden WR 5-11, 210 Missouri
3 Tetairoa McMillan WR 6-4, 200 Arizona
4 James Pearce DE 6-5, 245 Tennessee
5 Shedeur Sanders QB 6-2, 215 Colorado

Travis Hunter is an outright stud, he may be the best player in the country.
I like his poise and accuracy. Not a special athlete but has good feet in the pocket.
I welcome Deion, he will call out Giants leadership like no other. Fine with it.
Colorado will be nothing special but that’s not the point…
I, may be reading too much into it, but I'm trying to understand what happened there, and goes back to the intelligence and maturity of Shedeur.
