That no one was interested. My gut tells me he was coming back all along, but he got a veteran pass on camp and wear and tear. He knows the system, Jerome Henderson and 29 of his teammates.

People tend to forget that some of these guys really hate training camp.

Guess here but they probably either raised the floor a bit with some lucrative incentives if he hits them.

is about the supposed rift between him and the coaching staff. Was it more of him a versus Wink thing or him versus the team thing? If he can play to his 2022 level it'd be great. Secondary will still take its lumps but it'll be a little better if Banks develops further.

Another thread, still on the board, says that he had already signed his contract, so I guess his salary was guaranteed

pretty much. I am sure his agent talked to other teams to see if they were interested- that’s the agent’s job. “Hey are you looking for a corner?” No talk of any other offers. No takers except for one apparently.

Same. Despite the hints of rumors he was done here, obviously he wasn’t…

But it was likely. Had Flott McCloud and Hawkins had stronger camps, there may not have been the need. Give the state of things, it seems an obvious and necessary move. Which is not a great sign.

Is hopefully a good indicator of the contract the Giants offered. As in - not a lot of interest = better deal for Giants
