QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, FLEX, D/ST, K, 5 Bench. 0.5 PPR but stats still skewed that QB are your highest point getters most weeks. 14 teams. To prevent hoarding of QB's they set a maximum of 2 QB's per team.
I was picking 8th in Round 1 (snake draft)
QB - Tua, Caleb Williams
RB - Josh Jacobs, David Montgomery, Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, Antonio Gibson
WR - Amon-Ra St. Brown, Chris Olave, Diontae Johnson, Jerry Jeudy
TE - Mark Andrews
K - Greg Zuerlein
D/ST - Chicago Bears (though I will probably just play match-ups)
Who'd you grab 2nd rd?
Who'd you grab 2nd rd?
Olave because Etienne went 5 picks before me and Kyren Williams went 3 picks before me and I thought I could get a comparable RB in Round 3 as the run on QB's I expected took place (Hurts, Stroud, Jackson, and Purdy went between the two picks, Mahomes and Allen went between my 1st and 2nd) but I think that was also a function of our league's scoring
Where is your strength and depth? I love Amon Ra. Olave is definitely a top tier #2 WR but other than that you are probably weaker at most other positions than the majority of the league. 14 teamers are tough but I think you lost your way.
I'd be curious at to rds 3-7 which is where you make your money in fantasy. Jacobs is probably 3rd. Decent Value. Maybe you reached on Andrews in the 4th because you sensed a run on TE's? Even so- 5 and 6- who could you have picked Montgomery? Terrible 5th round pick. I don't even see anyone who I could rationalize taking in the 6th or 7th- Deontae? Singletary? Definitely none of the QBs would go anywhere near that high.
I don't like it. You have weak QBs in a QB centric league which is a strategy but you don't have the meat at the other spots where you should have feasted as guys were grabbing the QBs.

No offense taken. I will say that while QB is the top scorer, if you look at the projected points from the QB's after you are done with Mahomes/Allen/Hurts/Jackson/Burrow/Stroud/Prescott the next tier doesn't have much separation. Brock Purdy, for example, is projected to have less than 1 more point per week than Caleb Williams. Is that really worth spending a 2nd Round pick on Purdy (he went before my 3rd Round pick) versus a 10th Round pick on Williams? I guess I could have taken Prescott in Round 3 but then I would be struggling for RB's (the RB's taken between my 2nd and 3rd Round picks were Henry, R. White, Kamara, and Cook but I did not think Jacobs was much different). I was debating Aaron Rodgers in Round 7, but after Singletary I did not like the RB remaining. With the pick that ended up being Andrews I was looking at Achane, but he ended up going 6 picks before me. Since I see Montgomery hoarding red zone work for Detroit and the fact that they don't attempt FG's I think he can be helpful with 6 points per rushing TD. I also think Singletary will get red zone touches for the Giants.
