Regular season NFL football is back!
Should be a good game between two perennial AFC playoff teams.
I'll never forget / get over the SB XXXV loss to the Ravens, so rooting for them to lose (even though I'm pretty tired of the Chiefs).
Sloppy game. Chiefs 31 - Ravens 23.
That’s bad.
If I were coaching the Ravens I would keep Henry on a pitch count.
I think it's a pretty good guess that is what they are doing with him here.

So Henry is running the ball with authority on their best drive and you would have gone away from it too? That makes no sense.

Possibly, but meanwhile the game is getting away from them because their OC has Jackson trying to win the game with his arm.
Suck it Ravens!
This!
Suck it Ravens!
Serious question, why would you want an Andy Reid team to win?
The first down throw was a miss. I think the 2nd down play was as much on Flowers as anyone

Their DC did some good things for us…

Why would anyone want the ravens to win? Unless they play DAL, WAS or PHI in the Super Bowl, they can fucking suck it.
How can someone who runs like that be so bad as a passer?
How can someone who runs like that be so bad as a passer?
This is why it took so long for them to give him a big contract. He’s one of those players that will have some great games and get you to the playoffs, but you’ll never win the big one.
Yeah I didn’t think it was likely he was going to come back either
Heh 😏

Annoying AF??
Only when I hear him speak.
Oh yeah, also when they show him in the booth. But he's usually speaking then, too. Just extra annoying to see his stupid grin as well, lol.
According to Collinsworth almost every play is the most “amazing” or “incredible” thing he ever saw

I don’t think we have to worry about them playing in the SB anytime soon.

The ending was just BRUTAL. He missed wide open receivers two plays in a row!

I can’t stand him or Romo. Both annoying as hell to listen to. Madden used to annoy me at times when he would evaluate the sweat lines on the Cowboys offensive lineman’s pants, but he knew when to shut the hell up so people could enjoy the game.
Good grief.

All announcers have diarrhea of the mouth. I don't even hear them anymore. Many times I just mute it. So when people complain about these guys, just either mote it or turn the volumn down.

It was a total miss….sit down why he was running and open by 5 yards at least in front of him. BS
What rule? I watched the game, but I was fast forwarding between plays so I must have missed something.
Easy money. I think the only time I lost any pumpkin pie coins with the Chiefs was when they last to the Bucs in that SB.

but that has to be a penalty, otherwise there’s no point to the rule. The Chiefs are the new Patriots, they are going to be the beneficiary of most of the calls it seems.

Only the HC can call a TO on the sideline. The TO called by Spags was allowed when it should have been penalized.
Not saying that determined the game, it didn’t. But when you add that to all the bogus OL calls against the Ravens and not against the Chiefs, it just makes the whole thing smell like shit.

That's why I think the Ravens are in a weird version of "QB hell".
Most every other time, QB hell refers to a QB is merely mediocre - not nearly good enough to be among the best in the league, but does just enough good things to keep him from being among the very worst (easy enough to cut at that point), so you keep him around thinking he can he pretty good/efficient some day. With Lamar, he's a great player who does amazing things with his legs. He then does enough good things as a passer to make you think he MIGHT be able to lead you to a SB title someday, but then does more than enough bad things - especially in the playoffs and other big games - as a passer to bring you back to reality, that he's probably not the guy. But it's almost impossible to not give him a big contract based on the good things he does.
I have a college buddy who is a huge Ravens fan, and he was so pissed when they caved and gave Lamar the big contract - he wanted to move on from him so badly.
Agree, some challenges with Lamar. He needs to have the running game to make a consistent impact. More will have to come from the RB's moving forward. D will need to make progress but they faced a very good team on the road and the DC is very young and in his first season.
As a Dallas fan, that's the first thing I thought.
