My ten year old has been watching some old videos from the 80s and 90s and think they are really cool and wants me to show her some of the best that were created. So what were some of your favorite videos back in the MtV and VH-1 days?
My two favorites:
Sledgehammer- Peter Gabriel
Take on Me - A-ha
If you want to make her think, check out Pearl Jam's 'Do the Evolution ', linked below.
It's evolution baby! - ( New Window )
But only the original animated one (hard to find).

Touch Of Grey - Grateful Dead
Land Of Confusion - Genesis

I went to a work event that Robin Thicke was the entertainment at a year before that song resurrected his career. He had fallen off stage in sound check and knocked out a tooth. The vocals were stunningly funny.
Then that video comes out and introduces the world to the objectively best looking woman who has ever lived.
And
Sam Kinison - Wild Thing
Weezer... - ( New Window )
2. Madonna- Open your heart, I was 8, but knew for some reason I liked that video
3. Cher-If I could turn back time. Cher in a thong and the 16" guns of the USS Missouri.

Yeah, that's a good one.
Shot at the 1992 St. Patrick's Day parage in NY.
With that video and their whole Irish image, I always thought they were from NY or Boston. Was kind of hilarious to discover they were from LA.
I believe one of the three of them is Serbian.
