D-line is top 5 in the league.

Secondary ends up being a strength, always seems to happen, the unit you are most worried about is just fine.

Tight ends suck, but won’t tank us

By the end of the year we are all talking about how nice it is to have a normal defensive scheme, and not winks all or nothing.

We beat wash twice, Dallas and eagles once each. Go 4-2 in division.

We lose to the Browns, but beat the ravens, Steelers and Bengals.

...which should be good enough to make the playoffs.

improved, pass rush much improved. we run the ball and control the clock. we sweep the Eagles, split with the Cowboys and Commanders. 10-7 and in the playoffs.

Jones will come up small in big spots as always

I will watch as always and hope somehow they can turn things around this season. However, I really don't see it happening. In fact, I think 3 or 4 wins is more likely than anything approaching a .500 record.

I figure the absolute ceiling is 9 wins, but that will require the planets aligning like they did in 2022.

If they lose to Minnesota this might be a really rough year.

Agreed. If we can’t beat Minny opening at home. Darnold. No stars no defense. Then this is going to be a long year toward another top 5 pick

Just enough to knock us back enough from the top couple of QB’s, forcing Schoen and Co to surrender multiple premium picks to move up…

Giants are out of it by Halloween, then play themselves out of a top pick with a handful of meaningless, late-season wins. Mara defends Schoen and Daboll by telling us the players fought hard and didn't give up.

Can’t win in this league without strong QB play. Still not enough talent on offense. Defense is far from dominant.

I think last yr was a clusterf right from the start for different reasons, so I'm wiping the slate clean. We've added a lot of talent and some competent coaching (OL, DC) to the team that won a road playoff game 2 yrs ago.

As bad as last yr was, we still won 6 and then we added Nabers, Burns, some vet OL, a proven OL coach, etc.

So many refuse to consider the possibility that Jones just might play pretty well with a decent OL AND a very good WR corps., which he's never had. As if OL and weapons are irrelevant to QB performance.

I am sticking to the same prediction I've had for some time.

I can see as many as 10 and as few as 6, but I think 9 is realistic and attainable.
