Does Peacock suck? Or I just don't know how to navigate?

Jon C. in MD : 9/7/2024 11:50 am
I signed up for Peacock ($8 basic level) just to watch the game last night. I fell asleep watching the game and now I want to watch the 2nd half on replay.

I can't find the replay anywhere in the app. Am I just missing it?
Maybe they make you pay for $15 premium account to get NFL replays? Or is this app just a total freaking ripoff?

I don’t

Are available for replay the next day or so. I’m not sure about the NFL.

YouTube TV lets you record everything. I thought Amazon had replays last year for Thursday night games. Do I have that wrong?

Really sucks to not have DVR capabilities, especially when you're paying specifically for one game.
I tape the replays on

NFL network for the gaves I cannot get live.
Works great. You have to scroll through NFL Network guide to find the game you want to tape.
MLB TV lets you replay games

but I think that is the exception, not the rule. Peacock had replays set up for the Olympics but I didn't see any promise of replays for last night's NFL game. I think it was a live-stream only. You're probably right that the NFL wants you to buy their product to get replays.
Peacock

Did do replays for CFB but I'm not completely sure if they do for pro ball. It's probably an NFL thing. They want you to buy NFL+ Premium.

YES network has the previous Yankees game logged and ready to go within hours. Same with MSG Network app, Knicks and Rangers games are there to watch at your own leisure.

Pirate streaming site pearl clutchers shouldn't click on the link.
Link - ( New Window )
It's on NFL Network right now
HomerJones45 : 9/7/2024 3:39 pm : link
Probably will be replayed there again during the week
replays aren't on Peacock because NBC doesn't own the rights
Giantsfan79 : 9/7/2024 5:02 pm : link
but if you subscribe to NFL+ then you can watch the replay of any game as long as it's finished.

They are not comparable. YouTube Tv is a live tv streaming platform. Competition is Directv Stream, Fubo, Hulu Live TV, Sling etc…Basically a replacement for cable. Peacock is NBC/Universals streaming platform of NBC shows and some live sports. Like CBS’ Paramount Plus, Netflix or MAX.
I stumbled across a must watch on peacock last night
djm : 9/7/2024 6:44 pm : link
Called “90 Bronx zoo” it’s about the disastrous 1990 Yankees (year or so before and after) and what is eventually led to. I made the mistake of starting episode 1 after midnight and didn’t want to stop. It’s a must watch for any baseball fan and if you’re a Yankees fan it’s even better. I’ve been a Yankee fan since the late 70s but really became a die hard Yankee fan right around 88 or so as I was falling in baseball more and more. Some of the shit that went on back then is absolutely mind blowing. The Mel hall stuff — can’t even put it into words. I knew back then he was a locker room problem but holy fuckng shit.

Watch it. ASAP. It’s must watch for any baseball fan.
As to streaming live sports in general
djm : 9/7/2024 6:46 pm : link
It sucks the high hard one. Unless you have never watched live sports on dvr you won’t ever prefer streaming. And don’t get me started with the cash grab death by 1000 cuts nonsense with this shit.
NFL Network

I just opened YouTube tv and the replay is right there. It auto recorded the nfl network replay last night.

Good to know for the future.

YouTube TV has been way better than cable.
For me streaming sports is not as good but there’s no

alternative in most cases these days. I especially miss being able to go back and check a close play with a frame by frame advance. Somehow with the more advanced technology we are losing quality and features instead of gaining them.
