Klaatu recommended that we incorporate more site news (good threads, new articles, etc) into Inside BBI.
How about a new award called the "Mike Lombardi Loser Post of the Week" award which is dedicated to the worst post in the Corner Forum?
Too harsh?
The award for worst post seems harsh, it's pretty subjective, and I think it opens the door to a form of cyber-bullying that is off-brand for BBI. I would lean toward something that builds community; after all, that's part of why political threads are banned, right? Best and worst prediction of the week might be better. Who got the 53-man roster right? Who called the score correctly in advance? Who was way off? Factual stuff.
Why would the site owner want to call out one of his customers for being a loser
your content is tops, just keep doing that.
any plans to bring on content creators or ex-players from other teams? I find that interesting and its a way to attract subscribers from ouside the BBI multiverse...
Now, it looks like this suggestion was the impetus for this thread:
I think that's a little more comprehensive and a hell of a lot more benign than "asshole of the week."
Or competition for the infamy.

Asshole of the week will be confined to a small group of repeat winners. Otoh, anyone can make a stupid post and be in the running

As posted above, we would highlight best threads / comments.

Forum Highlights, or "This Week on BBI." What's truebluelarry got going on? Whose OP is getting the most views and/or the most responses? Who's taking flak? Who's getting praised? Who's traveling to the next away game? Make this a regular feature. I'd open with it (after the intros and before discussion begins). Game previews and reviews should always be highlighted (link in the description). Maybe a "Comment of the Week," which is something you ought to be able to have fun with. I'd introduce this feature with "What's Tyree doing in there?" You could also clue people in on BBI-Speak, such as "Germans."

Those who knowingly go into topics solely to complain about the topic should be in the running for that as well
You do the positive posts -- which is a great idea. Site content might improve.
You should totally do the "Loser Post of the Week" - just let a guest do it so you guys don't have to be negative. Could be like Weekend Update on SNL.
I agree with people that say to use the shorts. I would do a baldinger-style break down of one highlight play and do several of these...those will get tweeted and get hits on youtube. I think your expertise would attract ...
If a post is bad, somebody should tell the poster about it immediately. By the time it gets on a pod cast everyone has forgotten about it.
I'm guessing that if Eric were to designate a "Post Fixer" whose job it is to "correct" posters who have violated Eric's rules for posting, there would be dozens of volunteers.
Or a weekly "Cooking with Bill in UT" demo.
