Injury updates, per Brian Daboll #giants
-believes CB Nick McCloud (knee) more day-to-day maybe week-to-week
-WR/returner Gunner Olszewski (groin) “out for weeks”
-WR Darius Slayton in concussion protocol
-ILB Carter Coughlin (pec) “out for months”
schoen an outside GM, couldnt solve the ridiculousness of these decisions.
same thing happeneed with gano last year.... took an embarssment to get him to IR.

How do you know Gunner should have been placed on IR to return?
Do you have access to his medical records to make that determination?
Plenty of things to be furious about….but come on now with this one
How do you go into a preseason game and play your only punt returner in a meaningless game is maddening. This coach is in way over his head.
he is no different than Joe judge with the decision-making on personnel..
Their back-up was Isaiah McKenzie, but he got hurt in the preseason finale and was waived/injured with a foot injury.
Quote:
That after Gunner spent pretty much the whole pre-season injured that they still had no back up plan for a punt returner. How is it that even when you have a healthy returner, there is not a designated back up. Slayton was thrown in there and expectedly so missed. Every time I turn around, I'm coming to another realization that Daboll is a problem

He had no business playing in that game as well.
This like approximately 1977 all over again. Joke of a franchise with no hope. It took league interference to get Wellington out of the way. What's it going to take to get John out of the way?

Not a good enough reason to start the season without another option for punt returner IMO.
"F*ck no, Coach. The last time you did this, it f*cked my whole career. I'm here working for peanuts to re-establish myself at cornerback, not to save your @ss catching punts behind your sh!tty return unit."

Every day you make yourself look like an out of touch fool… kind of like this organization

BINGO. And Slayton has incentives to reach! BTW, did Slayton get concussed on a punt return? Never heard ow it happened.
