What changes do expect or would you you make to win this season?
Do you feel the season is lost and should the organization reset yet again? (Top to bottom)
If Daniel Jones has a similar game as last week against Washington and Brian Daboll still names Jones as the starting QB for week 3 @ Cleveland. I'd love to hear Eric's thoughts on that, if it occurs.
Also, quick comment for John. I love the new intro and appreciate all the work that went into it. Although would it be possible to add a "skip" feature for future videos?
Sometimes I'd like to jump right into the discussion and avoid the 2 minute intro if possible. Thanks
Given the way the Giants operate do you think they'd be better off moving away from OCs-turned-first time head coaches and towards, for lack of a better term, experienced retreads (like Coughlin was)?
due to Ertz? (Last week, Vikings were without their stud TE, Hockenson.)
If not, what is Simmons' role on this team? Just core special teamer and super backup? Sy said he'd like to see him as a pass rusher, and it doesn't seem Ojulari is exactly lighting the world on fire....
Thoughts on why Daboll did not plan for Flores following the classic Bill Belichick tactic of "taking away what you do best?" They both coached under Bill.
I would have thought the Giants would have emphasized the run game once the down field options were taking away and the Vikings weren't blitzing. 13 carries to 42 pass attempts is a stupid lack of balance. I know it is skewed because the Giants were behind and needed to pass.
I just would have thought that with the o-line playing for the first time together and the passing game taking a bit to get going, a reliance on the running game would have built confidence and controlled the game.

Well, thanks goes to Eric on the intro, he provided that one. I just make them work together.. * I will share my thoughts on JOnes as well. :)
Secondly, we now have a shorter version of the opening, you will be happy with it.
Where are both of you at with Schoen and Daboll? Assuming we win six games at most this year, do you want to see both or one of them replaced next season?

What is the leash on DJ? I can't imagine if this team is 0-3 with continued poor performance from DJ that he will start the Thursday night home game against Dallas. I have to imagine that the crowd will be largely Cowboys fans and any Giants fans in attendance will be booing loud enough for Sexy Dexy to consider disrespectful...
What gives our coach ANY HOPE that Daniel can flip the script on this? What is he seeing that we are not seeing? Is there anything that we just are missing as fans.
Why do we continue to play members of the team all preseason at one spot, and then in the first game, move them to a spot they never seemed to work at in practice? For example, Ezeudu last year from Guard to Tackle, Flott vs Philips at slot this year this year? And then on the other side, we won't Try Neal at Guard. He does stuff that doesn't make sense, but won't try what we think is obvious? Please discuss this!
Most here seem to have accepted that Schoen & Daboll are likely to be fired. If not both, at least one. Do either of you have any faith in this regime to turn things around, will Mara give them another year if things go as bad as we all think?
When a HC gets fired, does the finance commitment cease immediately?
does it appear to you that the giants have done a piss poor task at preparing the team for the season opener the last 2 years. I know that no one wants injuries in pre season games but a new defense a new offensive line and a new offensive play caller should necessitate a little more preseason game time together to work on the problems that appear.
Is there anyone that believes Jones will answer his non-believers with a better performance. I know, even his most loyal supporters, have finally given up. I have read it everywhere, every day. Does Jones have any fight left in him? Has he given up on himself? Many believe that Daboll and the team have already concluded that he is toast.
If the Giants are 0-3 and Daniel Jones is going to start game 4 at home Thursday Night September 26th at what point during the game (which qtr, how much time left) will there be more Cowboy fans in stands than Giants fans. (I agree with your points about John Mara's reaction to an empty Met Life stadium.)
Question 2:
Is there any precedent for firing an NFL head coach early in a season and replacing him with someone not currently on the coaching staff? (I just finished listening to the last episode and I'm in total agreement that a Belichick hiring is an inevitability. I said last night I'm on board with Belichick trying to break Shula's record as HC of the NYG.)
RE: Any chance Jones' game 1 performance was an aberration?

Is everybody right? Is he a dead man walking?
I'm sure he will have a good game or two, mayfield tore up the commanders D. But then he will face Dallas again and parsons will eat him for breakfast.

I haven't heard anything like this with any other player?
Am I wrong?
What exactly kicks in for season 3 and 4 of Jones' contract if he can't pass a physical and the clause is triggered?

Get someone to administer general anesthesia so that you miss the game.

The new intro is 24 seconds long.
I know a lot of these guys email him privately and always wondered what sort of crazy things he's been told off of the board.

Daboll
Potential new hire
That would be unbelievable.

Mayfield is a much better QB than Jones IMO.
