The sponsorship deal between MLB and Strauss runs through 2027 and the logo will be seen on helmets in all playoff games as well as all regular-season MLB games in Europe. Strauss will also have ads on all Minor League Baseball helmets during regular-season and postseason games through 2027. |
No relentless ads, you could watch games on TV, no overexposure, no constant talk of sports betting, no twitter.

I hope the NFL continues to stay away from it - the NBA is the worst when it comes to ads IMO
Just Madden & Summerall or Brookshire and Summerall doing a masterful job breaking down the games.

I'll be 60 in December and the the likes of Sy'56, Falato, Skinner, Tice, et al make the sport far, far more enjoyable to follow, and I'd add, it keeps the low times at least a little interesting. I know more about the other 31 teams today than we ever really knew about NYG in 'the day'.
Back when there was no TV money and the stands were never full. And I don't think there were ads on the walls at Yankee Stadium.
You and me both

When the players stop asking for 100s of millions of dollars.
Otherwise, we'll see more of these.
