Dudes a class act and didn't throw the Giants under the bus. We always say things about DJ being a class act. I just want to add that even Barkley was a great guy. We ruined his career far worse than we ruined DJs career yet he doesn't say anything bad about us.

I considered the Turf at MetLife as part of the Giants.

Fair. the turf sucks, but Barkley tore his ACL (which was the worst of his injuries) in Chicago.

grass too.
I loved him at Penn State. I loved him as a Giant. I love him now.
And no, I didn't have his jersey. LOL. Just appreciated all the dude was about.
Go Saquon!

Eagles are my most hated team but I can't get myself to hate Barkley.

Want to buy my signed giants jersey of his?
But a moron did.
But the guy did have exceptional talent and could do some spectacular things. From just a utilitarian overall football fan perspective, it does suck that he came to the Giants. It would have been fun to watch him and see if he could harness his potential with a better team.
I do NOT wish him any injuries, but I think ultimately (probably not this year), the contract the Eagles gave Barkley will bite them in the ass due to Barkley missing too many games or playing and being dinged up.

Will Barkley last the whole season without injury?
Barkley started 43 of his last 51 games with the Giants.
I hope he stays healthy, but I hope the Eagles don't win any games.
Do you think Barkley was perhaps just a talented player on a bad team. Ever seen a great player on a bad team before ? No? Never? Amazing.
He’s gonna have 20 tds and 2000 all purpose yards this year. For a winning team.
He played a bad QB and terrible line for the majority of his time here. Never played with a true passing threat and not to mention the coaching.
In the words of Mara they did everything to screw him up.
Daniel Jones being lauded for his work ethic while throwing 5 yard dump off passes into the ground is absurd.
Tiresome. nauseating. absurd.

He had over 2,000 scrimmage yards as a rookie (and led the league in the statistic), won OROY, and went to the pro-bowl.
He got hurt year 2 and the team struggled more, and he tore his ACL year 3.
His healthy 2022 was similar to his rookie year. Not as many receptions, but pretty close to the rushing #'s.
I said what I said and I stand by it.
Tons or players had good careers on bad teams and without injury Barkley very likely could have too.
Mara's comments were about Jones, not Barkley.
I heard that after the Giants horrific game last week, Saquon called his close friend and ex-teammate Daniel Jones to give him some support.
As I've always said, Saquon Barkley is a classy man. It's too damn bad the Giants screwed up so badly that he left the organisation.

I agree but I wish all eagles and cowboys injuries.
