Who Is Going to the Giants-WFT Game Tomorrow?

jpennyva : 9/14/2024 3:13 pm
Hello All - I hadn't seen another thread on this although I have seen comments on other threads from those who are NOT going to tomorrow's game (I don't blame you). My husband and I purchased these tickets a while ago. In any case, we have a parking pass in the Red lot and it does look like it will be a beautiful day so we at least have that going for us. We will be in a bright blue Toyota Tacoma (my husband's pride and joy) and it is pretty easy to spot. And we will be with a couple of other Giants fans. Full disclosure, my husband is a WFT fan (he grew up here) but he is not a jerk about it and the WFT's abysmal playoff record over the last 15+ years helps me keep him in check ;). Fun fact: his favorite player is Tress Way and given that the player is their punter, that says a lot.

Hope to see some of you there tomorrow!
We used to have a rather large BBI contingent

At the Washington game every year. HopeJ used to be able to get unused players tickets at cost and we'd have a big tailgate. Sometime around 15 years ago, the fan base at their stadium turned nasty and it wasn't a good time any longer. They crushed us on a Christmas Eve game there and it was actually worrisome getting out of there. I couldn't believe how hostile it was in the parking lot as we were leaving. Drunk, rauceous crowd. Went a couple more times afterwards, but it became too much. Rather just watch on TV now. Sad, because it used to be a lot of fun. Hope you have a great time.

I've only gone once in DC but it was a great game to go to - '86 when they clinched the division at RFK. A friend of mine working in the DC area got tickets for us. Awesome game!

I was at that 86 game two with a buddy. People handed us free tickets because we were polite and friendly in the lot. Lower level too.
I also was at that game

Some guy threatened me in the parking lot and I just asked him why he was pissed at me. I didn't throw 6 interceptions.
