is just not a winning player…he’ll get his yards here and there but he’s a nightmare
I said this last week about Hyatt and the same applies to Slayton but to a lesser degree.
The game is more than just running and catching. The true pros understand situations and when they need to alter their routes.
Our last possession ended in a punt. It was the one where Jones did not see Nabers and threw to Robinson in traffic.
On the next play, he through to Slayton but the play was broken up. The throw was fine but it was Slayton who fucked it up. After slayton cut to the middle, he had the CB on his hip. Rather than coming back to the ball to shield the defender from the ball, he kept drifting downfield. That allowed the DB to get position in front to knock the ball down.
To be fair that was a ridiculous call.
if anything it was fairly obvious offensive PI

These things go unnoticed in real time.

Beyond ridiculous.
That was a dreadful call.
That's the Commanders offense.
Fuck the refs.
Isn’t that the MO of the new D coordinator, bend but don’t break until you do?
When you lose on a call, then you did not do enough to win the game.
I heard no complaints here every time the officials threw the flag on the skins inside of our 10.
